Santander went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 6-3 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Santander got the Orioles on the board in the first inning, tagging Oakland starter Mitch Spence for a solo shot. The long ball was Santander's ninth of the last 21 games, bringing his season total to 23 homers. Only Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani and Gunnar Henderson have hit more round trippers than Santander. • Kutter Crawford goes seven scoreless to beat Yanks
Kutter Crawford delivered a brilliant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Yankees, scattering four hits over seven scoreless innings of work.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the evening and didn’t walk a batter. He needed just 68 pitches (54 strikes) to get through his seven innings. Crawford has never pitched into the eighth inning in his big-league career though, and the Red Sox trusted their bullpen to get the final six outs. Crawford generated nine whiffs on the night while posting an elite CSW of 38 percent. He’ll attempt to finish the first half strong as he carries a stellar 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106/28 K/BB ratio (105 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Royals. • Still sitting Sunday
Torres (groin) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Torres departed from Friday's matchup with Boston due to right groin soreness and will sit Sunday for the second consecutive game. He'll also have Monday's team off day to rest up ahead of Tuesday's series opener in Tampa Bay. Oswaldo Cabrera will start at the keystone and bat seventh in the series finale versus the Red Sox. • Jeimer Candelario drives in run with a double
Jeimer Candelario went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and a run batted in on Sunday against the Tigers.

Advice: The Reds were hopeless for most of this game against Tarik Skubal and Candelario accounted for one of their three hits off him and the only run batted in. Candelario has managed to keep himself above water with 14 homers and a .749 OPS in what was meant to be a very crowded infield mix for the Reds. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm

    • Gleyber Torres (groin) remains out Sunday
Gleyber Torres (groin) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Red Sox.

Advice: There was some hope that Torres could return from his groin injury after being possibly available off the bench Saturday, but the 27-year-old will sit out at least one more game. Oswaldo Cabrera will hit seventh and play second base in Torres’ absence. He should still be considered day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:12 pm

    • Sitting Sunday
Rodriguez (quadriceps) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays but could be available as a pinch hitter, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports.

Advice: The 23-year-old was removed early in Saturday's contest due to discomfort in his lower right quadricep, though it doesn't appear he's dealing with a serious injury. Rodriguez may be available off the bench, but the Mariners could play it safe and give him a couple days to rest up as the team has a scheduled day off Monday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:52 am

    • MRI comes back clean on Rodríguez’s right quad
An MRI on Julio Rodríguez’s right quad showed no stuctural damage.

Advice: Rodríguez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays, but the outfielder is being kept out for precautionary measures according to manager Scott Servais, and he could be available off the bench. Even with the 23-year-old struggling for most of the 2024 campaign, this is obviously welcome news to fantasy managers who hope to see better things from Rodríguez in the second half of 2024. • Julio Rodríguez (quad) out Sunday against Toronto
Julio Rodríguez (quad) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rodríguez was removed with a right quad injury during Saturday’s game against the Blue Jays, and it’s unsurprising that he’s going to miss at least one full game with the injury. How much more time he misses will depend on the results of his MRI. Victor Robles gets the start in center field and will hit ninth against Toronto on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:22 am

    • Building strength in hamstrings
Grissom is trying to regain strength in both hamstrings before the team maps out a plan for his return, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Grissom has been running the bases and moving better, per manager Alex Cora, but a rehab assignment is not imminent. He had been expected to be Boston's primary second baseman, but Grissom may not be guaranteed that role when he's ready. The Red Sox have been getting by with lefty hitters David Hamilton and Enmanuel Valdez for now. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:36 am
