  • Dylan Moore clubs solo homer in loss to Orioles
    Dylan Moore clubbed his fourth home run of the season on Friday night, but it wasn’t enough to power the Mariners past the Orioles in Baltimore.

    Advice: Moore led off the game by smacking the first pitch thrown by John Means for a double into left field. He then came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI single off the bat of Mitch Garver. The versatile 31-year-old then tattooed a 405-foot (104.3 mph EV) solo shot in the fifth inning that pulled the M’s to within three runs at 5-2.     Eddie Rosario went 1-for-4 with an RBI double on Friday night as the Nationals fell to the Phillies in Philadelphia.

    Advice: The Nationals had nobody on base with two outs in the fifth inning, when C.J. Abrams and Rosario hit back-to-back doubles off of Zack Wheeler to produce a run and pull the Nats to within two runs at 4-2. That would be as close as they would get. While Rosario has been productive this season from a fantasy perspective — with five homers and six stolen bases — he is still hitting a pitiful .179/.248/.369 through 106 at-bats on the season.     Diamondbacks’ manager Torey Lovullo told reporters on Friday that Alek Thomas (hamstring) is making progress and will ramp up his baseball activities soon.

    Advice: Thomas had been days away from a potential return from the injured list when he suffered a setback and experienced renewed discomfort in his left hamstring.
