    • Start could be pushed to Friday
The Orioles are considering pushing Bradish's next scheduled start back a day to Friday in Tampa Bay, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Advice: Cade Povich will join Baltimore's taxi squad and looks in line to be called up from Triple-A Norfolk to start against the Blue Jays on Thursday, which had been Bradish's turn. Bradish doesn't seem to be battling any physical issue, but rather the team is simply looking to give him a little extra rest. Bradish is coming off his worst start of the season, having allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks over 2.2 frames against the Rays this past Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 9:05 am

    • Sitting out Wednesday
Murphy (elbow) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Boston.

Advice: Murphy departed Tuesday's 8-3 win after being struck on the right elbow by a pitch. X-rays came back negative, and Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the swelling on the elbow has mostly subsided. Murphy could be ready to go as soon as Thursday, but Travis d'Arnaud will fill in at catcher for Atlanta on Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:41 am

    • Six-game hitting streak
Paredes went 2-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: Paredes delivered a two-RBI single in the fifth inning and came around to score in the same frame. He extended his hitting streak to six games with the performance, driving in five and scoring four runs in that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:47 pm

    • Exits early Tuesday
Flaherty was removed from Tuesday's game against the Rangers due to back tightness, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Advice: Flaherty had cruised through five shutout innings and thrown just 60 pitches before being suddenly pulled from the game. Manager A.J. Hinch said after the contest that the team still does not know the severity of the right-hander's injury, but the Tigers will presumably continue to run tests on his back and have an update on his status within the next couple of days. • Jack Flaherty left start due to back tightness
Jack Flaherty was removed from Tuesday’s start against the Rangers due to back tightness.

Advice: Flaherty said after the game that he thinks he’ll be able to make his next start, which was already due to come with a couple of extra days off. The 28-year-old righty has been outstanding this season in his Tigers debut and was lifted from Tuesday’s outing against the Rangers after striking out four over five scoreless frames. • X-rays negative
Initial X-rays on Murphy's right elbow came back negative after he was hit by a pitch during Tuesday's win over the Red Sox, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: Murphy's elbow swelled up significantly immediately following the HBP, though he appears to have escaped the incident without suffering any structural damage. The catcher also said after Tuesday's game that he is confident he'll be able to avoid the injured list and get back to playing within a few days. Travis d'Arnaud would start behind the plate for any games that Murphy may have to miss. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:18 pm

    • Nick Castellanos delivers walk-off hit vs. Brewers
Nick Castellanos delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning on Tuesday, powering the Phillies to a 2-1 walk-off victory over the Brewers.

Advice: Castellanos snapped a 1-1 stalemate in extra-innings with a walk-off single to right field off Brewers reliever Joel Payamps. It was his lone hit in three at-bats, although he did draw a pair of walks in the extra-inning marathon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:08 pm
    • X-rays come back negative on Sean Murphy’s elbow
Sean Murphy is day-to-day with a right elbow contusion.

Advice: The positive news here is that X-rays came back negative after Murphy was hit by a pitch on the right elbow during the ninth inning of Tuesday’s game against the Red Sox, which led to his removal from the contest. It doesn’t sound like he’s going to wind up missing too much time, if any. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:58 pm

    • Jack Flaherty exits Tuesday with possible injury
Jack Flaherty left Tuesday’s start against the Rangers with a possible injury.

Advice: Flaherty was cruising with four strikeouts and needed just 60 pitches (44 strikes) to navigate five scoreless frames before being lifted from the contest. No word yet on the reason for his removal, but Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press adds that Flaherty was spotted stretching in the dugout prior to his early exit. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:51 pm
