    • Camilo Doval suffers blown save against Yankees
      Camilo Doval suffered a brutal blown save on Sunday afternoon against the Yankees, giving up four runs on four hits in 2/3 of an inning.

      Advice: Oof. The right-hander came on with a 5-3 lead to protect, but things got away from him in a hurry. Gleyber Torres started the inning with a single, then Anthony Volpe smacked a one-out RBI triple that narrowed the gap. Juan Soto then clobbered a go-ahead two-run homer to give the Yankees the lead. Doval kept fighting though, issuing a walk to Aaron Judge, an RBI double to Giancarlo Stanton and a walk to Alex Verdugo before uncorking a wild pitch that advanced both runners. He rallied to punch out DJ LeMahieu though before turning the ball over to Taylor Rogers to get the final out. He’s still locked in as the Giants’ closer, but his 4.24 ERA is no longer looking for spectacular and another blowup or two and Giants’ manager Bob Melvin may want to go another direction.       Caballero went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Orioles.

      Advice: Caballero took the first pitch of the seventh inning over the left-field wall for his third homer of the year. It was also his second hit of the day, representing his ninth multi-hit game in 54 games this season.     • Freddie Freeman homers, swipes bag to lead Dodgers
      Freddie Freeman homered, swiped a base and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday, leading the Dodgers to a 4-0 victory over the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman was the second member of the Dodgers’ lineup to victimize Austin Gomber in the opening inning, clobbering a 396-foot (104.1 mph EV) solo shot just off of the outstretched glove of Brenton Doyle to increase the Dodgers’ early lead to 2-0. The 34-year-old superstar then led off the third inning with a walk, swiped second base and scored on an RBI knock by Miguel Rojas. Freeman also plated a run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning. For the season, he’s slashing .293/.399/.477 to go along with seven homers, 35 RBI and just two stolen bases.       Freeman went 1-for-1 with a solo home run, three walks, two RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Freeman went yard in the first inning and added a sacrifice fly in the eighth. The three walks he drew Sunday matched his total of free passes from his previous 13 games. Freeman's at a 13.4 percent walk rate on the year, to go along with an equally impressive 16.0 percent walks rate. The first baseman has a .293/.399/.477 slash line with seven homers, 35 RBI, 35 runs scored, two steals, 16 doubles and two triples over 61 contests. While his numbers are down pretty much across the board, Freeman remains one of the most consistent hitters in baseball in the heart of a powerful lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 4:27 pm
       
    • Ben Brown struggles in follow-up to no-hit effort
      Ben Brown allowed five runs on six hits in five innings in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Brown struck out six and walked one, but he was far more hittable in this one than last week. Brown did post a 32 percent whiff rate and 36 percent CSW on the day, but much of that was on the back of his curveball, which is a strong pitch. His four-seam fastball is less impressive, and Brown threw it 70 percent of the time on Sunday, which is part of the downside of Brown as a two-pitch pitcher. Brown has a 3.33 ERA on the season and has clear strikeout upside, but his limited pitch mix will make him a volatile fantasy asset and with Jordan Wicks set to return from the injured list, there’s no telling how many more starts Brown will make after next week’s start in Cincinnati.     • José Caballero goes 2-for-3, homers in Rays’ win
      José Caballero went 2-for-3 with a homer Sunday as the Rays edged the Orioles 4-3.

      Advice: Caballero has been a strikeout machine of late, but he managed to go without one for just the second time in 18 games today. He’s batting .260/.318/.370 on the season, but it just doesn’t seem likely that he’ll keep his average up like this with how often he fails to make contact.     • Sean Murphy drives in go-ahead run
      Sean Murphy went 1-for-3 with a run-scoring double in a 3-1 win over the Athletics on Sunday. He also walked.

      Advice: Murphy delivered the big blow against his former team on Sunday as he still tries to get his feet wet this season. The double was his first extra-base hit so far in just his fifth game after straining his oblique on opening day. Rotoworld Today, 1:27 pm

    • Streak reaches 14 games
      Seager went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Saturday's 7-0 win over Miami.

      Advice: The calendar flipping from May to June did nothing to slow down Seager. After posting a 1.047 OPS during May, Seager extended a hitting streak to 14 games on the first day of the new month.     • Stuck with sixth loss
      Olson (1-6) took the loss Saturday as the Tigers fell 6-3 to the Red Sox, giving up five runs on six hits and a walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

      Advice: He was able to handle most of Boston's lineup, but Enmanuel Valdez proved to be his kryptonite, smacking a double and two homers off Olson. The right-hander had gone eight straight outings without allowing more than two earned runs heading into Saturday, and despite the stumble Olson will take a 2.48 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 52:20 K:BB through 61.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come at home next weekend against the Brewers.
