    • Kyle Isbel leaves game with injury on Saturday
Kyle Isbel was removed from Saturday’s battle against the Rays after being hit in the face by a foul ball.

Advice: Isbel was at the plate in the seventh inning when a foul tip caught him in the face. Depending on where exactly the ball caught him, he may head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage and he also may need to pass through the concussion protocol before he’s cleared to return to action. Stay tuned. Rotoworld 26 minutes ago

    • Exits with injury
Isbel was removed from Saturday's game against the Rays after getting hit in the head by a foul tip, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.

Advice: Isbel was hit in the face by a fastball that deflected off the handle of his bat during the seventh inning of Saturday's contest. The Royals will take a look at him and should offer an update relatively soon, but there is a good chance the 27-year-old outfielder misses at least a few games. Rotowire.com 30 minutes ago

    • Battling knee cramps
Lorenzen left his start Saturday versus the Twins due to cramping in his knee, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Manager Bruce Bochy said Lorenzen attempted to pitch through his cramping, but the skipper didn't want to risk another injury to an already-depleted Rangers rotation. Lorenzen finished with one earned run allowed on three hits and three walks while striking out four batters over six innings of work. Given his willingness to play through his injury, there's a good chance he will make his next start -- tentatively scheduled for next Saturday against the Marlins -- though the Rangers will keep an eye on his knee. • Anthony Santander launches two-run homer in win
Anthony Santander went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk to put the Orioles ahead in Saturday’s 5-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: After drawing a walk to lead off the seventh inning, Santander took Michael Kopech deep for a two-run blast in the eighth to give the Orioles a one-run lead. It was his second homer in three games. Though, he’s collected only three hits in his last seven. The 29-year-old slugger is hitting .205/.284/.432 with nine homers and 29 RBI across 197 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:27 pm

    • Out of lineup Saturday
Happ isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Happ will sit down Saturday despite going 4-for-11 with three doubles and a run scored during Chicago's previous series against Atlanta. Mike Tauchman will fill the void in left field, allowing Christopher Morel to serve as the Cubs' designated hitter while Patrick Wisdom starts at third base. Rotowire.com Today, 2:20 pm

    • Alex Kirilloff slugs go-ahead homer vs. Rangers
Alex Kirilloff went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and three RBI to lead the Twins to a 5-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Kirilloff knocked a base hit to lead off the seventh inning and scored on a sacrifice fly by Carlos Correa. Trailing by one run with two runners on base in the eighth, he took David Robertson deep for a three-run homer to give the Twins the lead. The 26-year-old has gone yard in back-to-back games for his fifth of the season while hitting .215/.278/.423 with 19 runs scored and 16 RBI across 144 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 2:12 pm

    • Back in lineup
Fraley (hand) is starting in right field Saturday versus the Dodgers.

Advice: Fraley has missed the Reds' last three games after suffering a bruised hand during Tuesday's contest, though he was used as a pinch runner Thursday. He appears to have fully recovered ahead of Saturday's game and will now look to get hot at the plate after beginning the year with a .692 OPS -- his worst mark since joining the Reds in 2022.
