Casas has been doing some baseball activities but hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped.       Jackson Chourio went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored as the Brewers triumphed over the Padres in San Diego on Sunday afternoon.

      Advice: The 20-year-old outfielder wasn’t even in the Brewers’ starting lineup for this one, but still managed to have a strong day at the dish. He entered as a pinch-hitter for Tyler Black in the seventh inning, where he singled to right and came around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Jake Bauers. Chourio also doubled off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning, but was stranded at third. He’s now slashing .230/.278/.362 with seven homers, 27 RBI and eight stolen bases on the season.       Nick Lodolo lost to the Red Sox after yielding four runs — three earned — in 4 2/3 innings Sunday.

      Advice: Lodolo hadn’t allowed more than two runs in winning five straight starts since returning from the IL, but he didn’t have quite the same stuff today. With his curveball a little off, he settled for seven missed swings in the 77-pitch outing. He also walked four.       Lodolo was limited Sunday versus the Red Sox as a result of a blister on his left index finger, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Lodolo tossed 4.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out three batters against Boston. The left-hander was tagged with the loss, while the four free passes were a season high, which is likely the result of the blister on his throwing hand. Following the contest, Lodolo said that "the feeling for the ball was not the same," but that it's "not impacting him a ton," so it's possible he'll be ready to go for his next start.
