      Jack Suwinski went drove in the winning run with a pinch-hit single as the Pirates won a 1-0 game against the Rockies on Saturday.

      Advice: Suwinski stepped in to pinch-hit with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. It just took one run to walk it off in the scoreless game. He delivered just that, knocking a single to left field to end the game.     • Bo Bichette ejected from Saturday’s ballgame
      Bo Bichette was ejected from Saturday’s ballgame against the Nationals after spiking his helmet in frustration to a questionable called-third strike.

      Advice: The slumping 26-year-old shortstop appeared to take exception to a pitch that grazed the outside corner against him, and he took out some frustration on his helmet.       Clay Holmes hurled a scoreless 1 1/3 innings to get a save Saturday against the Tigers.

      Advice: Holmes gave up one hit while picking up a pair of strikeouts. This now makes 16 consecutive appearances to begin the year where he hasn’t allowed a run, and he’s already up to 11 saves on the season. Can’t do much better than that. Rotoworld Today, 12:48 pm

      Stroman came away with a no-decision Friday against the Tigers after giving up one earned run on three hits and five walks while striking out three batters across 5.1 innings.

      Advice: Despite the Tigers' ability to reach base regularly against Stroman, a bases-loaded walk from Colt Keith in the sixth inning was the only way Detroit was able to break through on the scoreboard against him. A quiet night from New York's offense also put Stroman at risk of taking his second loss of the season, but a two-run ninth inning allowed the Yankees to steal the victory from Detroit while handing the right-hander a no-decision.       Advice: O'Hearn has hit safely in his last six games, going 8-for-19 (.421) in that span. The homer was his first since April 16, but the 30-year-old continues to demolish right-handed pitching. He's up to a .307/.381/.573 slash line with five homers, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored, three doubles and a triple over 84 plate appearances this season.       Cronenworth went 3-for-5 with a solo homer in Friday's win over Arizona.

      Advice: Cronenworth smacked a 398-foot home run off Slade Cecconi in the fourth inning to give him his third homer in five games. The Padres first baseman also extended his hit streak to seven games, batting .370 (10-for-27) during that time.       Jake Cronenworth went 3-for-5 with a homer and two doubles in a victory over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

      Advice: Cronenworth swatted one of three homers for the Padres on Friday, with his being a solo shot off Slade Cecconi. Cronenworth has shown solid power to begin the 2024 season, as he’s up to six homers, nine doubles and a .516 slugging percentage through 122 at-bats. It’s certainly understandable to be skeptical considering that the 30-year-old hasn’t slugged above .400 over the last two seasons, but the results are awfully promising right now.
