    • Picks up three hits, stolen base
De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with a double and a stolen base in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: For the fifth time this season, De La Cruz got three hits in a game. He has multi-hit games in three of his last four and a stolen base in his third straight. The 22-year-old now has 37 steals in 72 games this season, which puts him on pace for 82 by the end of the campaign. The speedster carries a .242/.340/.447 slash line with 12 home runs and 31 RBI. • Elly De La Cruz collects 37th steal in Reds’ loss
Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with his 37th stolen base of the season on Monday in the Reds’ loss to the Pirates.

Advice: De La Cruz was one of the few bright spots in this one as Cincinnati’s offense was almost completely shut down by Pirates rookie ace Paul Skenes into the late innings of the first meeting between the two division rivals this year. The 22-year-old middle infielder remains on pace to steal roughly 80 bases this season as he’s picked it up on the bases recently, notching at least one theft in three straight contests. • Picks up fourth win
Sanchez (4-3) went seven innings and allowed two runs (one earned) to earn the win Monday against the Padres. He gave up six hits, one walk, and struck out five.

Advice: Sanchez was impressive Monday against San Diego as he allowed only one extra-base hit. It was the eighth start this season in which he's allowed one earned run or fewer. The lefty matched his season high for innings pitched and lowered his ERA to 2.91 in the process. The 27-year-old is tentatively scheduled to pitch again this weekend versus the Diamondbacks. • Cristopher Sánchez goes seven in win over Padres
Cristopher Sánchez was charged with two runs (one earned) over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Padres.

Advice: Sánchez limited San Diego to just six hits over seven frames as their lone runs of the contest came on a fifth-inning ground out from Jake Cronenworth and a run-scoring double by Donovan Solano in the seventh inning. He struck out five and only issued one walk, getting plenty of run support from Philadephia’s offense to cruise to his fourth win of the year. He’ll bring a strong 2.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 66/24 K/BB ratio across 77 1/3 innings (14 starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Diamondbacks. Rotoworld Today, 6:32 pm
    • Could be available off bench Monday
Blue Jays manager John Schneider said that Bichette (calf) could be available off the bench for Monday's game against the Red Sox, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: Bichette is out of the lineup for the third consecutive game while he works his way back from a right calf injury, but Schneider suggested that the shortstop is trending in the right direction and is scheduled to do "more hitting, baserunning, agility stuff" during a pregame workout. If Bichette responds well to those activities, the Blue Jays could call on him to make a pinch-hitting appearance in Monday's contest. Even if the Blue Jays opt to stay away from Bichette for another day, he would still seem likely to avoid a trip to the injured list and could be back in the lineup as soon as Tuesday. • Bo Bichette (calf) works out prior to game
Bo Bichette is again out of Monday’s lineup with calf tightness, but he might be available off the bench.

Advice: That depends on how his on-field workout goes prior to the game. The Jays have Isiah Kiner-Falefa at short and Ernie Clement at third tonight. Rotoworld Today, 1:16 pm

    • Held out again Monday
Bichette (calf) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Bichette will miss out on a third straight start as he battles a right calf injury. He had reported improvement with his condition Sunday, so Bichette should have a good chance at avoiding a stint on the injured list. In Bichette's continued absence Monday, Isiah Kiner-Falefa will start at shortstop again. Rotowire.com Today, 12:37 pm

    • Too much traffic in loss
Stroman (6-3) allowed four runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out three over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Red Sox.

Advice: In addition to allowing 11 baserunners, Stroman was also on the mound for six of the Red Sox's franchise-best nine steals in the contest. Stroman has had two bad outings and one good one through three starts in June, though Sunday marked his first loss since May 9. The right-hander has maintained a 3.08 ERA despite a 1.30 WHIP and 61:38 K:BB over 84.2 innings through 15 starts this season. He's projected for a home start versus Atlanta in his next outing. • Grabs save in Game 1
Duran retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in a 6-2 win over the Athletics in Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Advice: Cole Sands left two runners on with two outs, but Duran was able to get Abraham Toro to ground out to end the contest. This was Duran's first save in five appearances, though he added a hold and two wins in that span. The closer is up to 11 saves, four holds, a 3.60 ERA, a 1.10 WHIP and a 17:8 K:BB over 20 innings this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:32 pm
