    • Taking seat Thursday
Fry is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Fry will take a seat for Thursday's series finale, as he had been scheduled to head to the bench Wednesday before that game was postponed due to inclement weather. Though his 1.092 OPS on the season ranks first in the majors among all players with at least 140 plate appearances, Fry still hasn't quite locked down a full-time role in Cleveland. He'll be out of the lineup for the second time in three games while the Guardians go with Bo Naylor at catcher and Kyle Manzardo at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:20 am

    • Not starting Wednesday
Fry is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Among all players with at least 140 plate appearances, Fry leads the majors with a 1.092 OPS on the season, but he still hasn't quite seized hold of a full-time role in Cleveland. He'll be on the bench for the second time in three games while the Guardians go with Bo Naylor at catcher and Kyle Manzardo at designated hitter. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:10 pm

    • On base three times
Rengifo went 2-for-3 with a walk, a steal and an RBI in Tuesday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Rengifo plated the Angels' first run with a base hit in the third and wound up being stranded on second after notching his 14th steal and second in as many games. He now has at least a hit in four straight games and is slashing .390/.419/.512 with three RBI, eight runs and a 2:4 BB:K in 43 plate appearances since May 24. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:33 am

    • Placed on IL with sprained ankle
The White Sox placed Pham on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left ankle sprain.

Advice: Pham suffered the injury during Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Brewers during the play at home plate involving William Contreras, which resulted in both benches clearing. It's not clear how long Pham might be sidelined. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:46 pm
    • White Sox place Tommy Pham on IL with ankle sprain
White Sox placed OF Tommy Pham on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 3, with a left ankle sprain.

Advice: Pham will be out of action for at least a week-plus with the injury, but there’s no timetable for a return. it comes shortly after Pham threatened to fight the entire Milwaukee team, but it doesn’t appear the injuries are related. Zack DeLoach is up from Triple-A in a plethora of corresponding transactions. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:36 pm
    • Swipes 13th bag
Rengifo went 1-for-3 with a run and a stolen base in a 2-1 victory versus the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Offense in the contest was scarce, so Rengifo's role in producing the Angels' first run was especially valuable. He singled with one out in the fourth inning and stole second base before eventually crossing the plate on a Willie Calhoun single. Rengifo missed some time in May due to an illness, but he hasn't slowed down since returning, slashing .313/.353/.484 with two homers, six RBI, 10 runs and four stolen bases in 16 contests. The infielder leads the team and is tied for 12th in the majors with 13 thefts on the campaign. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:23 am

    • Getting rest Monday
Vierling is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Vierling will get a breather for the series opener, despite being one of the hottest hitters in the Detroit lineup at the moment. While starting each of the last seven games, Vierling recorded at least one hit and produced a .438/.455/.906 slash line overall. The 27-year-old should have a hold on a near-everyday role while he's sizzling at the plate, but his absence from the lineup Monday will open up a spot in the outfield for Akil Baddoo. • Heading to bench Sunday
Fry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Fry will head to the bench after a stretch of six consecutive starts during which he slashed .333/.462/.667 with three extra-base hits, one stolen base, eight RBI and five runs. Five of his last six starts came in left field, but with Steven Kwan back from the injured list, Fry could end up seeing most of his opportunities at designated hitter moving forward. Kyle Manzardo represents Fry's primary competition for playing time at DH, but both will be on the bench Sunday while Jose Ramirez gets a day off from third base and but sticks in the starting nine in a non-defensive role. • Ozuna hits 17th home run in loss Saturday
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI against the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: The home run was Ozuna’s 17th of the season. Only Aaron Judge, Kyle Tucker and Gunnar Henderson have more. Only Jose Ramirez has more than Ozuna’s 53 RBI this year. The 33-year-old designated hitter is having the best season of his career at the plate. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:47 pm
