      Diaz (shoulder) said after his rehab appearance with High-A Brooklyn on Thursday that he will get one more rehab outing Sunday before being activated from the 15-day injured list on Wednesday or Thursday, SNY reports.

      Advice: Diaz allowed one hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning for Brooklyn in his first rehab appearance. The reliever was pleased with his performance, saying after the game that his fastball had "new life" and his slider felt "great."     • Struggles with control in loss
      Lopez (5-6) took the loss against the Yankees on Thursday, allowing seven runs on four hits and six walks while striking out four batters over four innings.

      Advice: Lopez threw just 54 of 96 pitches for strikes and issued a season-high six walks -- more than he had handed out over his previous seven starts combined. Three of the free passes came to consecutive batters leading off the third frame, and all three of the recipients came around to score. The wildness was probably an aberration for Lopez considering his overall track record, but even when he's finding the strike zone, he's been struggling to get batters out.       Witt went 1-for-4 with a walk and two stolen bases in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Guardians.

      Advice: Witt has gone 13-for-31 (.419) with 10 RBI and three steals during his seven-game hitting streak. While he didn't score Thursday, he was active on the basepaths for his third multi-steal game of the season.       Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run in a 5-2 win against Washington on Thursday.

      Advice: Ozuna gave Atlanta some breathing room with his two-run, eighth-inning blast that extended his team's lead from one run to three. It was the slugger's 18th long ball of the campaign, moving him into fourth place in the majors.       Pablo Lopez allowed seven runs in four innings and took the loss against the Yankees on Thursday.

      Advice: Lopez gave up four hits, walked six and struck out four. It was a tough matchup against the Yankees, but Lopez was shaky in this one. He hit Austin Wells in the second inning and he scored on a home run by Trent Gresham. In the third inning, Lopez walked the bases loaded and all three of the runners ended up scoring. In the fourth inning, he walked Aaron Judge, who also ended up scoring. Lopez’ ERA is up to 5.45 on the season, but his xFIP is significantly lower at 3.42.       Devers was replaced by a pinch hitter during the seventh inning of Thursday's game against the White Sox, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

      Edwin Díaz (shoulder) struck out two in a scoreless inning on Thursday in a minor league rehab appearance for High-A Brooklyn.

      Advice: Díaz threw 14 pitches (11 strikes) and was reportedly touching 98 mph on his heater in his first rehab outing as he works his way back from a right shoulder impingement that sent him to the injured list back in late May.
