    • Blasts homer in loss
Turang went 2-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a loss to the Angels.

Advice: Turang plated the final run of the contest with his 419-foot solo shot in the fifth inning. The second-year infielder has gone deep four times through 68 games this season after hitting six homers in 137 contests last year. Turang's skill set is more centered on speed than power, so anything fantasy managers get in the homer department is a nice bonus. The speedster has made a big impact on the rosters of fantasy managers who had the foresight to pick him up late in fantasy drafts or on the waiver wire, as he's slashing .291/.359/.406 on the season with 25 RBI, 35 runs and 26 stolen bases in 27 attempts. • Logs 13th save Monday
Estevez earned a save against the Brewers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez had little trouble protecting a two-run, ninth-inning lead, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. The veteran reliever has turned things around after a rough middle portion of May -- he hasn't allowed a baserunner in seven straight outings, racking up six saves and a win during that span. As such, his hold on the Angels' closer role is, for now at least, very secure. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Carlos Estévez perfect in seventh straight outing
Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: It was Estévez’s seventh consecutive perfect inning, a stretch that’s lowered his ERA from 5.06 to 3.52. He still doesn’t seem like a great bet going forward, but he certainly has it working now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
    • Rengifo comes off bench day after wrist injury
Luis Rengifo came off the bench and struck out as a pinch-hitter Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: He then remained in to play two innings at third base. Rengifo didn’t start because of a wrist injury suffered Sunday, but it seems like he’ll be fine. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm

    • Out of lineup but available
Rengifo (wrist) is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Brewers, Michael Huntley of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Advice: Rengifo exited Sunday's loss to the Giants with a left wrist contusion as a result of a hit by pitch. The super utility player said he'll be available off the bench Monday, so it would seem he'll have a good shot to return to the lineup Tuesday. Luis Guillorme is handling third base in Rengifo's stead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:57 pm

    • Luis Rengifo (wrist) held out of starting lineup
Luis Rengifo is out of Monday’s lineup with a wrist contusion, though he thinks he could play if needed.

Advice: Rengifo was hurt while falling down in trying to make a play at third base yesterday. Luis Guillorme is starting at third base tonight. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:54 pm

    • Gets sixth save Sunday
Jax allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in an 8-7 win over the Athletics in Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader.

Advice: Jax hadn't logged a save since May 10, but he received the opportunity to do so Sunday after Jhoan Duran closed out the matinee game. While the two relievers initially shared closing duties early in May, Duran has been the Twins' main closer for about a month while Jax has settled into a setup role. Jax has been excellent all year with a 2.30 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and 43:8 K:BB with six saves, 12 holds and two blown saves over 31.1 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:56 pm

    • Blanks Royals
Glasnow (7-5) picked up the win Sunday against Kansas City, allowing three hits and one walk with nine strikeouts across seven scoreless innings.

Advice: Glasnow was exceptional Sunday, striking out at least nine batters for a third straight start and completing his first scoreless start since April 21. He didn't allow an extra-base hit in the outing and got into the win column for the first time in seven starts. Glasnow leads MLB with 125 strikeouts across 93 innings, and his ERA dropped from 3.24 to 3.00 after Sunday's start. The 30-year-old is tentatively scheduled to face the Angels his next time out. • Griffin Jax closes out Athletics in nightcap
Griffin Jax picked up his sixth save of the season on Sunday night, working a scoreless ninth inning against the Athletics to preserve a one-run advantage.

Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander got the call after Jhoan Duran closed out the first game of the doubleheader earlier in the afternoon. He did allow a one-out single to JJ Bleday that put the tying run on base, but battled back to get Miguel Andujar on a fly ball to center field and Tyler Soderstrom on strikes to end it. Jax has been a key cog in the Twins’ bullpen this season, posting a 2.30 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and a 43/8 K/BB ratio (31 1/3 innings) while recording six saves and three victories. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:56 pm
