    • Slugs homer in easy win
Garcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional RBI during Sunday's 6-0 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Garcia snapped a five-game hitless streak Sunday, delivering two hits and pushing his RBI total to 40 this season. He also notched his 13th long ball of 2024, taking Trevor Rogers yard in the sixth frame. Garcia ranks top 15 in homers and RBI this year and is slashing .231/.285/.462 through 212 plate appearances. • Knocks three hits in loss
Soler went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: This was Soler's first multi-hit effort since May 22, and he went just 4-for-27 over the eight contests in between. The 32-year-old briefly got a look at leadoff in May, but he's since returned to the middle of the Giants' order. He's yet to find a groove for any extended period in 2024, slashing .215/.294/.372 with six home runs, 16 RBI, 22 runs scored and eight doubles over 48 contests. • Rebounds against A's
Morton didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Oakland, allowing one hit and five walks with six K's across six scoreless innings.

Advice: During his last start, Morton was hammered for 12 hits and eight runs by the Nationals. He did a complete 180 on Sunday, yielding one hit and delivering his first scoreless start since April 27. However, it wasn't a perfect outing, as Morton tied his season high in walks and hit the strike zone on just 58 of his 97 pitches. Over 62.2 innings, Morton owns a 3.88 ERA with a 65:28 K:BB and he's scheduled for a rematch with the Nationals in Washinton on Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 pm

    • Notches fifth save
Paul Sewald picked up the save Sunday against the Mets, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Sewald has been nigh unhittable lately, allowing just one baserunner over his past six appearances. The 34-year-old veteran has not allowed an earned run since his season debut back on May 7 and he is now a perfect five-for-five in save opportunities with a microscopic 1.08 ERA and 0.48 WHIP in 8.1 innings. • Alexis Díaz earns 12th save in win over Cubs
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to secure a 5-2 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Advice: Díaz walked one and struck out on and was never really in any jeopardy. Of course, it’s been a struggle for him this season, and the command issues are a big reason why. He now has a 5.64 ERA on the season but has a decent amount of job security with nobody to really threaten him in the bullpen. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:31 pm

    • Paul Sewald grabs save
Paul Sewald pitched a clean ninth inning to earn the save against the Mets on Sunday. He struck out one batter.

Advice: Sewald seems to relish the opportunity to close games against the organization that gave up on him and did so on back-to-back days this weekend. This was the first time all season the Diamondbacks used Sewald on consecutive days as he continues to get more comfortable since returning from injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • Adolis García homers in win over Marlins
Adolis García went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: García took a sixth-inning offering from Trevor Rogers and hit it 395 feet at 108.2 mph for his 13th home run on the season. He also added an RBI earlier in the game and now has 40 RBI on the year, which has helped prop up a disappointing .231/.285/.462 slash line. As a free-swinger, García has always seemed at risk for batting average regression, and it’s possible he won’t match last year’s .245 batting average, but the power remains a true asset. • Charlie Morton effective but wild in no-decision
Charlie Morton held the Athletics scoreless over six innings on Sunday. He allowed just one hit along with five walks and six strikeouts in a no-decision.

Advice: Poor command pushed Morton’s pitch count up in what was otherwise a fantastic outing. This was the sixth straight start in which Morton decreased the usage of his fastball and Sunday marked a season-low at 15%. In turn, he turned to more changeups which the Athletics couldn’t square up, but Morton also struggled to find the zone with it at times. Still, the 40-year-old continues to prove he’s a viable starter. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:24 pm

    • Receiving breather Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm
