Advice: Tovar kicked off the scoring in the first inning with an RBI single to left field. That was just the beginning of a massive performance by the young shortstop -- he added a solo homer in the sixth and a tiebreaking two-run shot in the seventh. The four-hit game was Tovar's second of the campaign, and he finished with his second multi-homer performance of the season. Advice: This qualifies as a big fantasy night, objectively. The outfielder got the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot off Nestor Cortes in the second, and he added a grand slam in the eighth to extend the Los Angeles lead to 8-2. The 31-year-old is up to 15 homers on the season with an .831 OPS and 47 RBI over 252 at-bats. There’ll be spells that Hernández drives fantasy managers crazy because of his shaky approach, but there’s enough games like this to deal with those spurts.
