    • Four hits in walk-off win
Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Castellanos capped Philadelphia's comeback victory in the bottom of the ninth inning, poking a ground-rule double down the right-field line, his second double and fourth hit of the game, to drive in Alec Bohm as the winning run. Castellanos is now 6-for-9 with four doubles in his last two games after going 0-for-14 in his previous three contests. Overall, he's slashing .219/.275/.371 on the year with nine homers, 31 RBI and 37 runs scored across 306 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:41 pm
    • Heyward, Hernández fuel seven-run Dodgers comeback
Teoscar Hernández hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth to propel the Dodgers to an 11-9 win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

Advice: The Dodgers also got a grand slam from Jason Heyward in scoring seven runs in the ninth. Hernández very well could have struck out to the game on the pitch prior to his homer, but he was given a reprieve by Lance Barksdale on a very close check-swing call. It was Hernández’s 18th homer of the year. He’s sixth in MLB with 54 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm
    • Jason Heyward hits grand slam in ninth
Pinch-hitting down five runs in the ninth, Jason Heyward hit his fourth career grand slam Tuesday off the Rockies’ Tyler Kinley.

Advice: In spite of the rally killer from Heyward, the Dodgers wound up winning anyway, befuddling the old-timers who would have preferred he singled. Heyward is batting .250/.344/.488 in his platoon role for the Dodgers. As much as some would like to see what Miguel Vargas could do as a regular, it’s just not going to happen as long as Heyward remains effective against righties. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm
    • Brenton Doyle goes 4-for-5, homers against Dodgers
Brenton Doyle finished 4-for-5 with a homer and two RBI against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Advice: Doyle probably still shouldn’t be batting second for a quality major league team, but he’s made big gains this season, particularly in cutting his K:BB ratio from nearly 7:1 last year to slightly less than 3:1 this season. The homer was his sixth, and he’s batting a respectable .274/.342/.407. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:20 pm
    • Collects another quality start
Lorenzen did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Mets, allowing three runs on four hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The veteran right-hander posted his sixth quality start in his last seven outings with this performance. Over that span dating back to May 13, Lorenzen has fired a 1.88 ERA, 1.02 WHIP and 27:16 K:BB in 43 innings. He looks to keep his stellar work rolling in his next start, tentatively slated to come against the Brewers on the road. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Michael Lorenzen left with no-decision versus Mets
Michael Lorenzen pitched six innings of three-run ball against the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Lorenzen left with a three-run lead, but the Texas bullpen couldn’t hold on to it. One imagines he had higher expectations after joining the world champions, but the Rangers are now 4-8 when he pitches, even though his ERA stands at 3.00. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:46 pm

    • Josh Smith hits three-run homer against Mets
Josh Smith went 2-for-4 and hit a three-run homer Tuesday in the loss to the Mets.

Advice: We’re still not really buying into Smith’s terrific start to the season, but there’s little doubt that he’ll remain in the Rangers lineup after Josh Jung returns. He’s batting .298/.386/.451 through 247 at-bats, even though his exit velocity numbers are actually worse than when he hit .185/.304/.328 last season. His strikeout rate is well down, which definitely helps, but he still seems to be overachieving at the moment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:46 pm

    • Jake Meyers goes 0-for-3 in loss to White Sox
Jake Meyers went 0-for-3 in the loss to the White Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: It’s a fourth straight hitless game for Meyers, who is in a 10-for-65 slump that has dropped his OPS from .898 to .713. The good news for Meyers is that with José Abreu gone and Chas McCormick still in the doghouse, there isn’t much of a playing time crunch in Houston right now. That’ll change if McCormick picks it up or maybe if Joey Loperfido is given a chance later this month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm
    • Imaging comes back negative
Judge said Tuesday that X-rays and CT scans on his left hand came back negative, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Judge had to leave Tuesday's game against Baltimore after taking a fastball off his hand, but he now appears to have avoided a significant injury. The 32-year-old slugger also said he aims to return without missing any games, though he is dealing with a bit of swelling which could sideline him for a day or two, per Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News.
