Lowe went 0-for-2 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.
Advice: The first baseman remains stuck in a 32-game power drought -- he launched his last home run May 14 -- but Lowe found a way to contribute. The steal was his second of the season, and while he did pilfer a career-high eight bags in 2021, he's managed only five stolen bases in 373 games since then. Lowe is slashing .214/.294/.262 during his homerless streak with just five doubles, nine RBI and nine runs. Rotowire.comSunday, 5:29 am
Burger isn't in the Marlins' lineup for Saturday's game against Seattle.
Advice: Burger will get a day to clear his head Saturday after going just 1-for-21 at the plate over his last five games. Emmanuel Rivera will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth in Burger's place. Rotowire.comSaturday, 11:07 am
Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's win over Kansas City.
Advice: Lowe did most of his damage in the sixth inning when he hit a ground-rule double and came around to score the go-ahead run. He entered Friday's game in an 8-for-42 (.190) slump over 12 appearances since his last multi-hit performance June 5. He hit .343 through 18 games to begin his 2024 campaign but has since gone 25-for-118 (.212). For the season, Lowe is slashing .259/.352/.346 with 12 extra-base hits and 21 runs scored. Nathaniel Lowe went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored as the Rangers defeated the Royals in Arlington.
Advice: Lowe singled to help along a Rangers’ rally in the fourth inning, but he was ultimately cut down at the plate attempting to score. The 28-year-old first baseman then doubled in the sixth inning and scored the go-ahead run on a fielder’s choice off the bat of Jonah Heim. With his three-hit attack, Lowe is now slashing .259/.352/.346 with just two homers, 21 RBI and one stolen base on the year. RotoworldFriday, 7:49 pm
Walker went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's 5-2 win over Washington.
Advice: Walker provided an insurance run with a solo blast in the ninth inning for his team-leading 17th home run of the season and fifth in the last eight games. He also leads the Diamondbacks with 50 RBI. The 33-year-old can still bring it, as Walker possesses top-shelf bat speed (89th percentile), average exit velocity (84th percentile), barrel rate (97th percentile) and hard-hit rate (88th percentile). Freeman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run Thursday in a 5-3 win against Colorado.
Advice: Freeman accounted for the Dodgers' final run of the contest with his fourth-inning solo shot to center field. The veteran first baseman is up to 11 long balls on the season, with five of them coming in June. Freeman has added to his standout month with a .354 average, 12 RBI, 17 runs, two stolen bases and a 14:10 BB:K through 18 games. Rotowire.comThursday, 11:22 pm
Diaz went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run Thursday against the Twins.
Advice: Diaz collected two hits, including his fifth homer of the season, to extend his hitting streak to 13 games and his on-base streak to 22 games. He's batting .351 over the course of the hit streak, though he has just one home run, one double, four RBI and six runs scored to show for his efforts. Rotowire.comThursday, 9:15 pm
Yandy Diaz hit a two-run homer and doubled in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Thursday.
Advice: Diaz absolutely clobbered a two-run homer that went an estimated 439 feet to extend the Rays’ lead to 6-2 in the ninth. It turns out the Rays would need those runs, as Minnesota scored four to tie it in the bottom half of the frame. Diaz is starting to heat up again, and he’s been much better than the .264/.327/.368 slash suggests after his slow start. RotoworldThursday, 1:30 pm
Christian Walker went 1-for-4 and scored the Diamondbacks’ lone run in Wednesday’s loss to the Nationals.
Advice: The only run that the Diamondbacks were able to scratch out against Patrick Corbin and company on Wednesday afternoon came as Gabriel Moreno worked a bases-loaded walk in the third inning that allowed Walker to score. The 33-year-old slugger has been a force in the middle of the Diamondbacks’ lineup once again this season — slashing .255/.333/.475 with 16 homers, 49 RBI and a pair of stolen bases.
