    • First to 10 wins
Suarez (10-1) earned the win Saturday over the Mets in London, allowing two runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It wasn't Suarez's most dominant outing (the eight hits allowed were a season high), though he managed to limit the damage en route to his league-leading 10th win. It's encouraging to see Suarez make a successful return to the mound after he was struck in the pitching hand by a line drive in his last start, forcing him out of the game after two innings. Overall, the 28-year-old southpaw sports a pristine 1.81 ERA with a 0.85 WHIP and 85:17 K:BB across 79.2 innings this year. Suarez is currently lined up to face the Orioles on the road in his next outing. Rotowire.com Today, 1:17 pm
    • Ranger Suárez fans six to beat Mets in London
Ranger Suárez struck out six and two runs over 5 2/3 innings on Saturday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: Suárez took the ball for Saturday’s London Series opener across the pond and got a big assist from teammate Orion Kerkering, who came on to strike out Mets star Francisco Lindor and strand a pair of inherited runners in the process. The 28-year-old southpaw has been masterful this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts. He’ll bring a microscopic 1.81 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 85/17 K/BB ratio across 79 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road outing on Friday against the Orioles. Rotoworld Today, 1:03 pm
    • Getting breather Saturday
Langford is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Langford will sit for the first time since returning from the IL on May 28 due to a hamstring injury. Since his return, Langford has slashed .235/.257/.324 with four RBI over 34 at-bats. The lefty-hitting Travis Jankowski will start in left field Saturday and bat seventh against Giants right-hander Spencer Howard. Rotowire.com Today, 9:49 am
    • Wyatt Langford absent from Saturday’s lineup
Wyatt Langford is not in the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Giants.

Advice: Langford heads to the bench with backstop Jonah Heim at designated hitter and veteran Travis Jankowski drawing a rare start in left field. The 22-year-old rookie is batting .235 with zero homers and four RBI in nine contests since returning from the injured list back on May 28. Rotoworld Today, 9:42 am
    • Ranger Suárez starting London Series opener
Ranger Suárez (thumb) will start Saturday’s London Series opener against the Mets.

Advice: As expected, Suárez will take the ball across the pond against the division-rival Mets after making it through a couple throwing sessions this week without any issues. The 28-year-old southpaw suffered a left thumb contusion last weekend when he was hit by a comebacker. The 28-year-old southpaw has been phenomenal this season, posting a major league-leading 1.70 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 79/16 K/BB ratio across 74 innings (12 starts). Rotoworld Today, 7:39 am
    • Steals bag, scores in loss
Duran went 0-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 7-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Duran stole home, his first steal in 15 games, and leads Boston with 12 thefts. He also leads the team with 39 runs. The outfielder has been hot to start the month of June, going 10-for-26 (.385) with one double, one triple, two home runs, four RBI and seven runs scored over the last six games. • Swipes 33rd bag
De La Cruz went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: The 22-year-old also struck out twice, and his 31.7 percent strikeout rate on the season has caught up with him -- De La Cruz is slashing .205/.286/.318 since the beginning of May with only three homers in 34 games. He continues to do damage when he is able to get on base, however, and De La Cruz's 33 steals on the season lead the league by a healthy margin, as the Brewers' Brice Turang sits in second place with 22. • Stuck with loss in quality start
Steele (0-3) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings as the Cubs were downed 3-2 by the Reds. He struck out seven.

Advice: The southpaw pitched well in his second quality start of the season, generating 30 called or swinging strikes among his 90 pitches, but a lack of run support kept him out of the win column once again. Steele appears to be rounding into form after missing all of April with a hamstring strain, and over his last three starts he sports a 1.89 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 20:6 K:BB through 19 innings. He'll look for that first victory of 2024 in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Today, 6:17 am

    • Michael King hurls five scoreless to beat D-backs
Michael King struck out five over five shutout innings on Friday in a win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: King received double-digit run support from San Diego’s offense and was able to cruise to a relatively easy win, scattering four hits and one walk over five spotless frames. The 29-year-old righty has been phenomenal of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven starts since May 4. He’ll carry a sharp 3.58 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 83/32 K/BB ratio across 78 innings (14 appearances, 13 starts) into an extremely favorable matchup on Wednesday afternoon against the rebuilding Athletics.
