      Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the A’s on Wednesday.

      Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Witt Jr. drove in the only run of the game for the Royals with a double in the fifth to plate Nelson Velázquez. The 24-year-old shortstop has been one of the top fantasy producers, slashing .323/.372/.545 with 11 homers, 59 runs scored, 52 RBI, and 21 steals across 333 plate appearances.     • Struggles with command in loss
      Gausman (5-6) took the loss to the Red Sox on Wednesday, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

      Advice: Gausman allowed an unearned run in the third inning then surrendered solo home runs in the fourth and fifth. He was pulled after yielding an RBI single with two outs in the sixth and was charged with another run when an inherited runner scored on an RBI single off reliever Tim Mayza. Gausman generated only two swinging strikes on his splitter and has now allowed four or more earned runs in five of his 15 starts this season.       Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-0 win over the Mariners.

      Advice: Kwan got things going early, walking and scoring a run in the first inning then hitting a two-run homer in the second. He later added a single in the sixth. Kwan continues to rake since his return from a hamstring injury May 31, extending his hitting streak to 13 games with eight multi-hit efforts in that span.     • Kevin Gausman unsteady in loss to Red Sox
      Kevin Gausman allowed five runs - four earned - in 5 2/3 innings on Wednesday against the Red Sox. He struck out four and walked three en route to a loss.

      Advice: Gausman never looked comfortable in this one. He allowed his first run in the midst of a two-error inning and then labored until being pulled in the sixth inning. He threw far too many fastballs in the heart of the zone and couldn’t get the Red Sox to bite at his splitters.       Steven Kwan went 2-for-3 with a home run, walk, and two runs scored on Wednesday against the Mariners.

      Advice: Kwan continues what’s been an all-time start to the season. His batting average ticked back up to an unthinkable .397 and the homer was his fifth of the season.     • Tarik Skubal gives up two homers in loss to Braves
      Tarik Skubal surrendered five runs — four earned — in four innings Wednesday in a loss to the Braves.

      Advice: Skubal struck out seven and gave up only five hard-hit balls. Unfortunately, two of those hard-hit balls went 426 and 407 feet, as Skubal allowed two homers for just the second time this season. It’s the fourth time this season that he’s allowed exactly four earned runs. He’s given up a total of nine earned runs in his other 11 outings. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:31 pm

      Skubal (8-3) took the loss Wednesday against Atlanta, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Most of the damage against Skubal came via the long ball Wednesday -- he gave up a two-run homer to Sean Murphy in the third inning before Ramon Laureano tacked on a solo shot in the fourth. The 27-year-old Skubal has now lost back-to-back starts for the first time this season -- he's given up eight earned runs over 10.1 innings in that span. The left-hander still sports a solid 2.50 ERA on the year with a 0.97 WHIP and 105:18 K:BB across 90 innings. Skubal is lined up for another tough matchup next week at home versus the Phillies.       Advice: Hayes tallied the Pirates' only run with a solo home run in the seventh inning -- his third of the season.
