    LeMahieu (foot) went 1-for-1 with three walks, two runs and an RBI while playing five innings at third base in Sunday's rehab appearance with Double-A Somerset.

    Advice: LeMahieu had plenty of opportunity to put his right foot -- which he broke on a foul ball March 16 -- to the test Sunday given his time in the field and on the basepaths. The veteran infielder is three games into his rehab assignment and has gone 2-for-7 with three walks, two runs and an RBI thus far. Per the Associated Press, LeMahieu is slated to play back-to-back minor-league games Tuesday and Wednesday this week before playing in three consecutive contests over the weekend.   • Rays activate Brandon Lowe from the IL
    Rays activated 2B Brandon Lowe (oblique) from the IL.

    Advice: It’s hard to feel too confident about Lowe considering he experienced multiple setbacks during his rehab assignment and had to see a specialist. However, the Rays feel that he’s healthy enough to return; however, he was hitting just .185/.267/.333 with a homer and four RBI in eight games before being sidelined. Lowe has produced power in the past, but we also know that he will sit against left-handed pitching and the batting average will not be much of a help in fantasy leagues, which makes him tough to roster outside of deeper daily moves leagues.   • Xander Bogaerts leaves game with shoulder injury
    Xander Bogaerts left Monday’s game against the Braves with a shoulder injury.

    Advice: Bogaerts dove for a ball and came up grabbing his shoulder. While there is no immediate information on the extent of the injury, Bogaerts was removed from the game and was in clear pain. It was a play reminiscent of the one that injured Trevor Story earlier in the year.     The Rays activated Lowe (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

    Advice: Lowe had his return from an oblique strain delayed when he had a little setback, but he returned to action on his rehab assignment in recent days and now appears back to 100 percent.     Bogaerts was removed from Monday's game in Atlanta with an apparent left shoulder injury, Sammy Levitt of 973 The Fan reports.

    Advice: Bogaerts landed awkwardly while making a diving stop at second base in the third inning and looked to be in considerable pain immediately.
