    • Logan Webb let down by bullpen on Tuesday
Logan Webb allowed two runs on six hits in six innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Tuesday.

Advice: Webb left the game with a 5-2 lead and watched as the Giants blew a 6-2 lead in the bottom of the ninth before losing in extra innings. Webb went back to a change-up-heavy approach on Tuesday, registering just a 17 percent whiff rate but a 28 percent CSW. However, he also allowed an average exit velocity on contact of 96.7 mph and allowed 11 hard-hit baseballs. Lucky for him, just one of those went for extra bases and he was able to lower his ERA to 3.03 on the year. He has a solid start lined up against the Mets this weekend. • Woo dominates over six scoreless innings vs. Yanks
Bryan Woo pitched six scoreless innings while striking out seven to earn the win on Tuesday against the Yankees.

Advice: Woo allowed just two hits in this one and didn’t walk a batter. The second-year pro has now allowed just one earned run over three starts and 15 2/3 innings this season since being activated from the 15-day injured list on May 10th. Woo is now 2-0 with a 0.57 ERA and 0.51 WHIP. He’ll look to keep his hot start going on Sunday against the Nationals. Rotoworld 15 minutes ago

    • Promotion imminent
Nastrini will be recalled from Triple-A Charlotte to start Wednesday's game against Toronto, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: Nastrini struggled mightily during his first two career MLB starts, allowing seven earned runs across eight total innings while striking out eight batters and walking seven. Since being optioned to Charlotte in late April, he's posted a 5.24 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through 22.1 frames. Despite his lackluster performance, he'll be called upon to fill the open spot in Chicago's rotation and start Wednesday, pushing Mike Clevinger's next start to Thursday. • Improves to 9-0
Suarez (9-0) earned the win Tuesday over the Rangers, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 over seven innings.

Advice: Suarez was stellar again Tuesday, holding Texas to a lone run on a Marcus Semien double in the third inning while recording a season-high 10 strikeouts. The 28-year-old southpaw has been a revelation for the Phillies this season -- his ERA is down to a sparkling 1.36 with a 0.79 WHIP and 49:9 K:BB while earning a league-most nine wins across 10 starts (66 innings). Suarez will look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently scheduled for this weekend in Colorado. Rotowire.com 16 minutes ago

    • Alec Marsh fans five in win over Tigers
Alec Marsh allowed three earned runs on five hits over six innings, earning the win in the Royals’ win over the Tigers.

Advice: Marsh was able to sit in cruise control for much of this one. The Royals gave him a six run lead to work with early in the game, as Marsh went on to strike out five batters while allowing just three runs – all of which came in the fourth inning. Now sitting at 4-1 on the year and boasting a 2.72 ERA, Marsh will look to earn his fifth win of the season on Monday against the Twins. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

    • José Alvarado closes out win for Phillies
José Alvarado pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in the Phillies’ 5-2 win over the Rangers.

Advice: Alvarado did allow a hit, but he also struck out two and was in no real danger in the inning as he picked up his ninth save of the year. Despite it seeming like the Phillies would go to a closer-by-committee situation earlier in the year, Alvarado has recorded four of the team’s six saves during the month and has now allowed eight hits while striking out six and walking none in 8 2/3 innings. We wouldn’t go so far as to say the job is fully his, but he’s clearly far out in front of the pack. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
    • Bobby Witt Jr. homers twice, drives in six vs. DET
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Tigers.

Advice: Witt drove inn Maikel Garcia in the bottom of the first to give the Royals a 1-0 lead after Garcia started things off with a leadoff triple. That was just the start for Witt, who would later blast a three-run homer 468 feet to center field to put the Royals up 5-0 and hit another homer in the sixth inning just for good measure. Witt has now hit safely in five straight games and has upped his RBI total to 31 on the season. Rotoworld 19 minutes ago

    • Matt Vierling drives in two in loss to Royals
Matt Vierling went 2-for-4 with two RBI in the Tigers’ loss to the Royals.

Advice: Vierling drove in two of the Tigers’ three runs they scored in the fourth inning. His one-out triple brought home Wencel Pérez and Mark Canha and helped cut into what was an 8-0 deficit at the time. Vierling has now driven in 18 runs on the season while also adding three homers. He’s hit safely in five of his last six games but doesn’t provide enough to make him worth starting outside the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld 21 minutes ago

    • Removed with groin injury
Grandal was removed from Tuesday's game against the Giants due to left groin discomfort, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Grandal doubled and came around to score during Pittsburgh's ninth-inning rally, but he was unable to come out to catch the top of the 10th frame. The severity of his injury isn't immediately apparent, but the Pirates should have more information on the veteran backstop's injury before the start of Wednesday's game. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago
