      Advice: In his most recent start Friday against the Astros, Kirby contended with a right knee issue and was lifted after just 88 pitches. Kirby was sent in for an MRI on Saturday, and though the Mariners aren't disclosing the results of his imaging, neither the pitcher nor manager Scott Servais believe the knee issue is anything concerning, per MLB.com. The Mariners' tune could change if Kirby's knee is still bothering him following a between-starts bullpen session, but for now, fantasy managers should plan on the right-hander being available to start Wednesday without restrictions.       Santander went 3-for-5 with a home run, five RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's win over Cincinnati.

      Advice: Santander already had a nice multi-hit performance in the bag before capping his day off with a ninth-inning grand slam in the blowout victory. It was his fifth long ball of the year and first since April 17, snapping a 15-game drought. He posted a .505 OPS over his previous 13 games since his last multi-hit effort April 20.       Anthony Santander went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and five RBI in an 11-1 win over the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: It was only a matter of time before Santander started to get hot. The 29-year-old took Emilio Pagan deep for a three-run shot in the eighth innings that went 402 feet and left the bat at 104 mph. He also had a 107.3 mph single and 98.3 mph single on the day. He’s slashing .218/.295/.427 on the season with five home runs and 23 RBI. If you can, now would still be the time to try and trade for Santander before he really gets hot.       Ryan (1-2) was tagged with the loss after he pitched six innings, allowing three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out five batters in Sunday's 9-2 defeat to the Red Sox.

      Advice: Ryan tossed three scoreless frames to open his outing Sunday before giving up an RBI double to Rob Refsnyder in the fourth and then a two-run homer to Ceddanne Rafaela in the fifth inning. The right-hander has now recorded three straight quality starts, and he has yet to allow more than three runs in any outing this season.       Ramirez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Angels.

      Advice: Ramirez took Griffin Canning yard in the sixth inning, getting the Guardians on the board and plating Andres Gimenez. The long ball was his sixth of the campaign, a total that trails only Josh Naylor -- who also homered Sunday -- for the team lead.       Cortes did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk over 6.1 innings against the Tigers. He struck out nine.

      Advice: Cortes matched a season high with nine strikeouts, as he allowed only four baserunners in the contest. Cortes shut out the Tigers through six but was pulled with one out in the seventh after allowing two base hits in the inning. Both runners eventually came around to score, tying the game and ending Cortes' bid to earn his second win. It was the fourth quality start in eight games for Cortes, who lowered his ERA to 3.72 with a 1.03 WHIP and 46 strikeouts through 48.1 innings. It was the sixth time in seven games Skubal has allowed two or fewer earned runs, as the outing raised his ERA to 1.90 with a 0.77 WHIP and 53 strikeouts over 42.2 innings.       Nestor Cortes looked sharp in a no-decision against the Tigers on Sunday, giving up two runs on just three hits over 6 1/3 innings of work.

      Advice: The crafty 29-year-old southpaw piled up nine strikeouts on a rainy afternoon in the Bronx while allowing just one base on balls. He kept the Tigers off the board completely through the first six innings, but he allowed a pair of singles before departing in the seventh — and both runners came around to score against the Yankees’ bullpen. Cortes got 13 whiffs on 97 pitches on the day, registering a strong CSW of 33 percent. He’ll attempt to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.72 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and a 46/8 K/BB ratio (48 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Rays in Tampa Bay. All of the damage done against him came in the first two innings, as Aaron Judge crushed a solo homer in the first and Oswaldo Cabrera added an RBI double in the second.
