    • Jonathan India (migraine) out Thursday vs. Dodgers
Jonathan India (migraine) remains absent from the lineup for Thursday’s contest against the Dodgers.

Advice: India will miss his second straight contest after being scratched from Wednesday’s lineup due to a migraine. It’ll be Santiago Espinal making another start at the keystone in his absence. Rotoworld Today, 3:16 pm

    • Sitting again Thursday
India (migraine) isn't in the Reds' lineup for Thurdsay's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: A migraine caused India to be a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup, and it appears to be bothering him enough to hold him out again Thursday. Santiago Espinal will get the nod at second base instead and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:35 pm

    • Angels activate Luis Rengifo for Friday return
Angels activated INF/OF Luis Rengifo from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: The Angels tried to keep Rengifo on the active roster, but after he missed five games, they decided to put him on the injured list last Thursday. A week later, he’s returning to the fold and should likely remain an everyday player for the Angels given how banged up their lineup is. Niko Goodrum was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake in a corresponding move. Rotoworld Today, 10:35 am

    • Activated from injured list
The Angels activated Rengifo (illness) from the 10-day injured list Thursday.

Advice: Rengifo missed the last week and a half with a viral illness which resulted in painful blisters on his feet. He's recovered now, though, and should be back in the lineup when the Angels return to action Friday in Texas against the Rangers. The super utility player is slashing .330/.378/.462 with two home runs and nine stolen bases over 28 contests this season. Rotowire.com Today, 10:27 am

    • Aiming for Saturday return
Buxton (knee) will play one more rehab game with Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday before targeting a return to the Twins on Saturday in Cleveland, Darren Wolfson of Channel 5 Saint Paul reports.

Advice: Buxton kicked off a rehab assignment with St. Paul on Wednesday, going 0-for-3 at the plate and playing seven innings in center field. He'll likely be asked to play a full game there Thursday and, assuming all goes well, will be activated Saturday following a day of rest Friday. Buxton has been out since early May while battling right knee inflammation. Rotowire.com Today, 8:29 am

    • Begins rehab assignment
Buxton (knee) went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in his first rehab game with Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday.

Advice: Buxton played seven innings in center field before being lifted from the game. He could need another rehab game or two before being reinstated from the 10-day injured list, but Buxton's return to the 26-man active roster is coming soon. He's been out for most of May with right knee inflammation. Rotowire.com Today, 7:05 am

    • Another shutout win
Webb (4-4) earned the win over the Dodgers on Wednesday, allowing three hits and three walks over six shutout innings while striking out five.

Advice: Webb allowed three of the first four batters to reach base in the opening frame but managed to work his way out of the jam, getting two of the three outs by way of strikeout. The right-hander would allow just two walks and two singles from that point on en route to earning his fourth win of the season, snapping a three-game losing skid. Webb has now hurled six or more shutout innings in three of his last six starts, posting a 30:12 K:BB over that stretch. He's also logged quality starts in seven of his 10 outings this season. • Strong outing in win
Canning (2-4) earned the win over the Cardinals on Wednesday, allowing one run on five hits and three walks over six innings while striking out five.

Advice: Canning allowed multiple baserunners in two of his first four innings but managed to work his way through it unscathed. He would later surrender a home run to Paul Goldschmidt to open the sixth, but that would be the only run allowed by the right-hander on the night as he cruised to his second win of the season. Canning produced 12 swinging strikes in the contest and now carries a 13:6 K:BB in May to go along with a 1.53 ERA. It also marked his second quality start of the campaign and the third straight outing in which he's allowed two or fewer runs. Rotowire.com Today, 5:12 am
    • Delivers five-out save Wednesday
Munoz gave up a hit and struck out three over 1.2 scoreless innings Wednesday to record his seventh save of the season in a 4-2 win over the Royals.

Advice: Austin Voth ran into trouble in the eighth inning, so Munoz got the call with runners on second and third and only one out to protect a 3-1 lead. The Mariners' closer did allow an inherited runner to score, but Seattle got the run right back in the bottom of the frame and Munoz dominated the ninth. It's the fourth time this season he's worked more than one inning to notch a save, and with Matt Brash (elbow) done for the year and Gregory Santos (lat) potentially not back until the All-Star break, Munoz may have to continue putting in extra work until Seattle settles on a new setup crew.
