    • Mookie Betts leaves game after hit by pitch Sunday
Mookie Betts was removed from Sunday’s battle against the Royals after being hit in the left hand/wrist area by a 98 mph fastball.

Advice: The 31-year-old superstar was in obvious pain afterwards and the Dodgers immediately made the call to replace him with pinch-runner Miguel Rojas. He’ll head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. The Dodgers should have an update on his status shortly. • Lewis blasts sixth home run in win Sunday
Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.

Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

    • Corbin Burnes strikes out seven Phillies in win
Corbin Burnes allowed two earned runs in six innings in an 8-3 win over Phillies on Sunday. He struck out seven, walked two, and scattered seven hits.

Advice: Burnes was incredibly solid again in this one. Not dominant, but spotted a huge lead early and managed to coast behind his stellar cutter and curveball. The victory was his eighth of the season with a sparkling 2.14 ERA. Rotoworld Today, 1:48 pm
    • Finnegan picks up 20th save Sunday
Kyle Finnegan threw a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: The save was Finnegan’s 20th of the season. He’s only blown two save opportunities so far this season and lowered his ERA to 1.78. Finnegan has come out of nowhere to be one of the best closers in fantasy this year.

    • On bench Sunday
Turner is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: George Springer will get the start at DH as Addison Barger takes over in right field against right-hander Ben Lively. Age has caught up to Turner in a hurry -- he's slashing .225/.314/.345 with four home runs this season -- and the veteran will likely continue to receive regular rest days as the Blue Jays work in newcomers like Barger and Spencer Horwitz. • Mashes grand slam
Melendez went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Melendez put the Royals on top with a two-out grand slam in the top of the sixth, drawing 12 pitches in the at-bat before jumping on a hanging cutter from Blake Treinen. The 25-year-old also recorded an infield single earlier in the contest, giving him his first multi-hit effort since May 10 against the Angels. Melendez is batting just .152 in June, and Saturday marked the first time this month in which he's strung together hits in back-to-back contests. On a positive note, he now has three homers in his last eight games to go along with 10 RBI and four runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 7:31 am

    • Struggles with long ball
Pepiot (4-4) allowed five runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four batters over 4.2 innings in a loss to Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Pepiot looked to be on his game with four scoreless innings to begin his outing, but things fell apart for him in the fifth. In that frame, the right-hander gave up three home runs -- all with two out -- to account for five Atlanta runs. It marked the first time this season Pepiot has given up three home homers in a game, and the long balls prevented him from finishing five frames for the third time this season. The five runs Pepiot allowed Saturday were the most he's given up in an outing since his season debut against Texas on April 1. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:30 pm

    • MJ Melendez hits grand slam in win over Dodgers
MJ Melendez hit a grand slam to help the Royals to a 7-2 win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

Advice: With the bases full, Melendez took Blake Treinen deep to give the Royals a 5-2 lead. The 25-year-old outfielder has been a significant disappointment in 2024, but he’s at least starting to show some pop with three homers in the month of June; all of them coming in the last eight games. • Ryan Pepiot undone by HRs against Atlanta
Ryan Pepiot allowed five runs on six hits in 4 2/3 innings against the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Pepiot allowed seven hard-hit baseballs on the day and three home runs which accounted for seven runs. The right-hander did produce a 26 percent whiff rate and 26 percent CSW which helped him strike out four. However, he also walked three in what was an uneven effort overall. His first season in Tampa has not gone as smoothly as hoped. While he has flashed upside, he also has a 4.57 ERA but he has a good chance to turn that around next week against the Pirates.
