Fortunately for Fedde, the White Sox came back to tie the game up after he left the mound before winning in the 10th. Fedde threw only 48 of 91 pitches for strikes in his shortest outing of the season, and he has walked at least three batters in three of his last five starts.       Advice: Fedde had worked around some traffic through four innings, stranding four baserunners. The Cardinals got to him in the fifth. A single and a walk put two runners on before Brendan Donovan doubled to score two runs. Fedde walked another batter, then served up a three-run shot to Nolan Arenado. That was it for Fedde, who ended the day with a 3.46 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and a 41/14 K/BB ratio across 39 innings. He lines up for a matchup against the Guardians in Chicago on Thursday.       Christopher Morel went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk on Saturday against the Brewers.

      Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Morel took Tobias Myers deep for a two-run homer in the third to extend the Cubs lead. Morel can certainly hit homers in bunches, as he’s now gone yard in three straight games and four of his last six. The 24-year-old third baseman is slashing .213/.292/.426 with seven homers, 20 runs scored, 20 RBI, and three steals across 137 plate appearances. Despite the low batting average, Morel has significantly cut down his strikeout rate so far this season, a good sign that we can see his numbers improve as we get into the summer.
