    • Ronald Acuña Jr. homers in loss
Ronald Acuña Jr. went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run on Friday in a loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Acuña sent Bailey Falter packing in the eighth inning, but only cut the Pirates lead to 11-3. The full season line remains a disappointment, but his OPS has trickled up to .712 which is in the same range as teammates Ozzie Albies and Matt Olson. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm
    • Alek Manoah hit hard in loss to Tigers on Friday
Alek Manoah was hit hard in Friday’s loss to the Tigers, giving up six runs (four earned) on five hits over his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the night while issuing a pair of free passes. He served up a pair of homers in the ballgame — a solo shot to Colt Keith in the second inning and a two-run blast to Kerry Carpenter as the final batter that he faced in the fifth inning. His defense also did him no favors in this one. Manoah got 13 swings and misses on 97 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 27 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 3.97 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and a 23/8 K/BB ratio into Wednesday’s start against the White Sox in Chicago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:21 pm
    • Getting another day of rest
Parker's next projected start will be pushed back to Monday at Atlanta, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports. Parker was initially scheduled to face the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: Parker will have a full week in between starts, getting the series opener against Atlanta instead of Patrick Corbin. On the year, Parker owns a 3.32 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP across 38 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:43 am
    • Double, homer in win
Guerrero went 2-for-5 with a double, a two-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: Guerrero went hitless in his first three at-bats before sending Danny Jansen to third with a double in the top of the eighth inning. The first baseman wasn't done there, however, adding a two-run homer in the following frame as the Blue Jays blew out the Tigers 9-1. It marked Guerrero's seventh multi-hit game this month, and he's batting .371 in May with two homers, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored. The long ball was his first since May 5 against the Nationals. • Guerrero Jr. hits fifth home run Thursday
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Tigers on Thursday.

Advice: Guerrero Jr. scored on a Justin Turner double in the eighth inning and then homered in a 7-1 game in the ninth. The home run was his fifth of the season and he now has 24 RBI. Guerrero Jr. is up to .282 with a .799 OPS this year. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:26 pm
    • Four more hits in win
Arraez went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and one run scored in Thursday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Reds.

Advice: Arraez has multiple hits in each his last eight games, going 20-for-38 (.526) with three extra-base hits in that span. The infielder played at first base Thursday, swapping places with Jake Cronenworth on the right side of the infield. Arraez is up to a .341/.382/.422 slash line with one home run, 12 RBI, 31 runs scored and three stolen bases over 226 plate appearances. He sees a majority of the playing time at the keystone with Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) out indefinitely and should continue to thrive atop the order for a team that has little trouble putting the ball in play. • Luis Arraez collects four hits in win over Reds
Luis Arraez went 4-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in an extra-inning win over the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: That’s the second four-hit game in a row for Arraez, as he also collected four in the 7-3 win Wednesday. It’s also the eighth consecutive multi-hit game, and that’s seen the 27-year-old increase his average to .341. Helping in other categories is sometimes tricky, but the average category? Nope. That’s one Arraez is always going to be dominant in. Rotoworld Thursday, 1:32 pm

    • Four hits including first homer
Arraez went 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: The 27-year-old led off the game with his first homer of the season as he produced his seventh straight multi-hit performance. Arraez has been raking since being traded to the Padres, slashing .391/.425/.478 in 73 plate appearances, and with Xander Bogaerts (shoulder) facing a lengthy absence, he should be locked in as San Diego's everyday second baseman. • Taking seat Thursday
Heim is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.

Advice: The Rangers are wrapping up their series in Philadelphia with a day game after a night game, so Heim will be given a day of rest. Andrew Knizner will pick up the start at catcher. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:34 am
