Michael King hit hard in loss to Phillies Sunday
Michael King was hit hard in a losing effort against the Phillies on Sunday afternoon, surrendering six runs on six hits across 5 1/3 innings.
Advice: On the plus side for fantasy managers, he still did manage to punch out six batters on the afternoon while issuing three free passes. His troubles in this one stemmed from his inability to keep the ball in the yard, as Bryson Stott crushed a pair of two-run homers off of him and J.T. Realmuto added one of his own. King got 10 swings and misses on 95 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll look to get back on track as he carries a 5.00 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and a 40/21 K/BB ratio (36 innings) into Saturday’s showdown against the Diamondbacks in Arizona.
