      Kwan went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

      Advice: Kwan is up to a career-high seven homers this season, and three of them have come in his last five games. The outfielder has logged seven multi-hit efforts over his last 11 contests as well. The power probably won't last, as Kwan remains focused on making smart contact.     • Pitches two frames versus Cleveland
      Kikuchi (4-7) picked up a loss after he pitched two innings, giving up four runs on eight hits and a walk while striking out three batters in Sunday's 6-5 defeat to Cleveland.

      Advice: Kikuchi was once again ineffective on the mound Sunday, giving up one run in the first inning before the game went into a rain delay after he allowed another run to score and loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the third. Zach Pop replaced Kikuchi on the mound following the delay, allowing two of the inherited runners to score. Kikuchi has been in quite the rut for a while now, allowing 20 earned runs over 25.1 innings in his last six outings. The rough stretch has seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 to 4.00 on the year over 83.1 innings in 16 starts.     • Extends multi-hit streak
      Duran went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win against Cincinnati.

      Advice: Duran knocked an RBI double in the fourth inning and an RBI single in the sixth. He's produced four straight multi-hit performances, eight in his last 11 games, and 12 in 20 appearances this month. Duran is hitting .384 (33-for-86) with 12 extra-base hits and nine steals in June.     • Yusei Kikuchi struggles before rain delay
      Yusei Kikuchi allowed four runs in two-plus innings on Sunday against the Guardians. He walked one, struck out three, and allowed eight hits in a loss.

      Advice: The rain came at a great time for Kikuchi who’d loaded the bases with no outs in the third inning. He’s given up at least four earned runs in three of his last six starts and seen his ERA balloon from 2.64 on May 21st to 4.00 after this game.     • Nestor Cortes takes tough luck no decision
      Nestor Cortes allowed three runs on five hits in seven innings in a loss to the Yankees on Sunday.

      Advice: Cortes also struck out seven and walked nobody on the day. At times, he looked more electric than Max Fried, and it was Cortes who had more whiffs, getting 17 swings and misses on 49 swings for a 35 percent whiff rate and 36 percent CSW. Unfortunately, he allowed a solo home run to Jarred Kelenic and got himself into trouble in the fifth innings on three hits and a sac fly.     • Jarren Duran goes 3-for-5, swipes 20th bag in win
      Jarren Duran went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base Sunday as the Red Sox bested the Reds 7-4.

      Advice: It’s great to have Duran running like this again. He opened the season with six steals in six games, totaled five in his next 57 games and now has nine in his last 15 games. He’s tied for sixth in the majors with his 20 steals. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:30 pm
       
    • Takes loss despite quality start
      Cortes (4-6) was saddled with the loss Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits over seven innings against Atlanta. He struck out seven.

      Advice: Cortes mostly held the Atlanta bats in check to put together his third consecutive quality start and the ninth time this season he's struck out six or more batters, but the Yankees failed to provide any run support and Cortes was left with his sixth loss. Outside of a solo home run by Jarred Kelenic in the third, Cortes' only real trouble came in the fifth, when he allowed two runs on three hits. However, he finished his day strong by retiring all six batters faced in the sixth and seventh. Cortes has tossed 100.2 innings across 17 starts, accumulating 93 strikeouts. He'll take a 3.40 ERA and 1.07 WHIP into his next start, scheduled to take place when the Yankees head to Toronto for a four-game weekend set against the division-rival Blue Jays.     • Expects to be out four weeks
      Stanton said Sunday that he expects to be out for roughly four weeks as a result of his strained left hamstring, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

      Advice: Stanton landed on the 10-day injured list Sunday and received a platelet-rich plasma injection to aid in his healing process, but it doesn't seem like the slugging outfielder is on track for a speedy recovery. Trent Grisham could be a candidate to start nearly everyday for the Yankees while Stanton is sidelined, especially if the team decides to use Aaron Judge as its primary designated hitter going forward.     • Stanton diagnosed with mild hamstring strain
      Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone said after Sunday’s game that Giancarlo Stanton was diagnosed with a mild left hamstring strain.

      Advice: The 34-year-old slugger received a PRP injection on Sunday as well and told reporters that he expects to spend around four weeks on the injured list. That leaves a gaping hole in the middle of the lineup that the Yankees will need to fill for the next month or so.
