• Miles Mikolas falls apart in fifth inning
Miles Mikolas surrendered six runs over four-plus innings in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Mikolas cruised through the first four innings before the Mets jumped all over him for six hits and six earned runs to chase him before recording an out in the fifth. It was Mikolas’ second time facing the Mets in three starts and they were able to get to him. His ERA rose to 6.43. Rotoworld 32 minutes ago

  • Expected to return Wednesday
The Red Sox are expected to reinstate Gonzalez (wrist) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: Gonzalez has been on the injured list since April 13 due to a left wrist sprain, and he's gone 4-for-11 with three RBI since beginning a rehab assignment at Triple-A Worcester on Friday. Once activated, the 27-year-old infielder will presumably move into a reserve role behind Vaughn Grissom and Ceddanne Rafaela. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago

  • Tayler Saucedo suffers knee injury on play at first
Tayler Saucedo left Tuesday’s game in the eighth inning with a right knee injury.

Advice: Saucedo unfortunately slipped on first base while running to cover and trying to avoid a diving Austin Martin and was in a great deal of pain afterwards. He’ll surely land on the IL, which could lead to a promotion for Sammy Peralta. Rotoworld 35 minutes ago
  • Mitch Haniger hits fifth homer of season in win
Mitch Haniger went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Mariners’ win over the Twins on Tuesday.

Advice: Haniger’s solo blast in the second inning put the Mariners on the board first, and has now hit safely in three-straight games. He would later hit a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning to give the Mariners an 8-6 lead in a game that went back-and-forth throughout the night. The veteran right fielder has struggled to get on base this season and is now slashing .215/.273/.372 on the year. While he remains good for the occasional homer, batting in an offense that ranks near the bottom of the league in runs scored doesn’t give him much upside at this time. Rotoworld 43 minutes ago

  • Ryan Jeffers homers, drives in three in loss
Ryan Jeffers went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Jeffers sent his seventh homer of the season into deep left field to plate Trevor Larnach and Edouard Julien, giving the Twins a 4-2 lead over the Mariners. Jeffers continues to be one of the hottest hitting catchers in the league and is now 6-for-19 with two homers and eight RBI this month. Rotoworld 45 minutes ago

  • Goes deep in return
Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Padres.

Advice: Bellinger returned from the injured list Tuesday after missing about two weeks with a fractured ribcage, but he didn't seem to skip a beat. Dating back to before his injury, the 28-year-old is now riding a nine-game hitting streak, and he's gone deep four times in that span, giving him six home runs for the season. Bellinger looks locked in and should be a fantasy force the rest of the way as long as he stays healthy. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago

  • Bellinger tallies three hits, homers in return
Cody Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Padres.

Advice: Bellinger’s solo homer in the fourth gave the Cubbies their first run of the night. It was Bellinger’s sixth homer of the season and third in his last seven games, in what was his return from the 10-day IL. Bellinger extended his hitting streak to nine games in this one, and continues to look hot after getting off to a slow start through the first two weeks of the season. His three-hit performance was as good as we could have hoped for in his first game since April 23. Rotoworld Today, 7:28 pm

  • Gallen throws six shutout in win
Zac Gallen threw six shutout innings in a 6-2 win over the Reds, allowing just one hit while striking out six.

Advice: Gallen also walked three batters on the day and started just 11 of the 22 batters he faced with a strike. In fact, Gallen threw pitches in the strike zone just 46 percent of the time on the day; however, when he was able to get a pitch in the zone, the Reds had a really tough time making contact which led Gallen to post a 26 percent whiff rate and 30 percent CSW. It wasn’t his sharpest outing, but he benefited from a Reds team that is having a tough time hitting anybody right now. The effort lowered Gallen’s ERA to 2.84, and he gets a much tougher test against the Orioles this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 6:32 pm

  • Vierling posts multi-hit game in win Tuesday
Matt Vierling went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the victory over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Vierling continues to hit as his .282 average and .155 ISO this year would be career-highs. The Tigers sent Parker Meadows to the minors earlier this week, leaving Vierling and Wenceel Perez as the only viable options in centerfield. Vierling has multiple paths to playing time as even with Perez in the lineup he got the start at third base. He should see everyday at-bats until he cools off, making him an option in deeper formats.
