    • Three hits, four RBI in win
Mountcastle went 3-for-6 with two doubles, four RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Yankees while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Mountcastle increased Baltimore's lead to six runs with a three-run double in the second before also coming around to score later in the frame. He would go on to reach base four times in the game while also driving in another run, matching his season high with four RBI. The first baseman has now recorded multiple hits in back-to-back contests and extended his hitting streak to five games with Thursday's performance. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 pm
    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) close to facing hitters
Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw a bullpen session on Wednesday.

Advice: Senga could progress to facing hitters in a live batting practice session at some point over the weekend, depending on how he comes out of his latest throwing session. The 31-year-old righty remains without a definitive return timeline at the moment, but he’s going to require several weeks of rehab starts once he gets to that point in his ramp-up process. • Santander belts 19th home run Thursday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-5 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: Santander’s home run was his 19th of the season. He’s hit a ridiculous 10 home runs in 19 games in June. Santander’s hitting .230 with a .806 OPS and 48 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:36 pm

    • Ohtani blasts 21st home run against Rockies
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run against the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: Ohtani led off the game with a home run off Rockies starter Ty Blach. The home run was his 21st of the year, which leads the National League. He’s hitting .318 with 59 runs, 53 RBI and 16 steals to boot.

    • Could face hitters soon
Senga (shoulder/triceps) threw another bullpen session Wednesday, and manager Carlos Mendoza said afterward that the right-hander's next step could be facing hitters in live batting practice, Julian Guilarte of SI.com reports.

Advice: The Mets will likely re-evaluate Senga on Thursday and Friday, but if he feels fine physically coming out of his latest bullpen session, expect him to gain clearance to face hitters. Senga has been on the injured list all season, first because of a right posterior shoulder capsule strain before he experienced right triceps inflammation in late May. • Royce Lewis homers again versus Tampa Bay
Royce Lewis homered and walked twice against the Twins on Thursday.

Advice: Of course he homered. That’s already the ninth homer of the season for Lewis; a solid number for a first half of season, but even more impressive when you remember he’s only played 15 games. The 2017 first-overall pick has been remarkable when healthy enough to play, and his 2024 slash is a scorching .385/.459/.942. That’s obviously not sustainable, but he has the talent to be an elite fantasy player as long as he can stay on the field. Rotoworld Today, 1:28 pm

    • Homers again Wednesday
Lewis went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in an extra-inning loss to the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: Lewis racked up three of the Twins' nine hits and accounted for their final run of the contest with a solo shot to left field in the fifth inning. The 25-year-old third baseman continues to swing a potent bat, as he's gone deep eight times across just 57 plate appearances this season. He doesn't have nearly enough plate appearances to qualify, but Lewis' .848 slugging percentage on the season would lead MLB by a wide margin if he did. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:15 pm

    • Shohei Ohtani drives in three against Rockies
Shohei Ohtani went 2-for-5 with a double and three RBI against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Ohtani stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the second inning and cleared the bases with a double to tie the game. He later knocked a base hit for his second hit of the game. The 29-year-old star is slashing .317/.388/.608 with 20 homers, 58 runs scored, 52 RBI, and 16 steals across 332 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:23 pm

    • Royce Lewis homers again in loss to Rays
Royce Lewis clubbed his eighth home run of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough for the Twins to overcome the Rays in extra innings.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar did his damage in the fifth inning, tagging Taj Bradley for a 410-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot that gave the Twins a 2-1 advantage. That would wind up being the extent of their offense. He also singled twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4. On the season, he’s slashing an absurd .380/.439/.900 to go along with the eight homers and 12 RBI in just 56 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:57 pm
