    • Returns to third base Saturday
Machado started at third base and went 0-for-4 in a loss to the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Machado recently missed four games due to a strained right hip flexor and was limited to DH duties in four straight contests following his return. The veteran was able to resume playing the field Saturday, though he didn't look like he was up to full speed while running out a grounder in the seventh inning. It's unclear how much the hip issue is bothering Machado, as he's batting just .200 (4-for-20) with no runs or RBI and seven strikeouts since returning to the lineup. • Corbin Carroll doubles twice in loss to White Sox
Corbin Carroll hit two doubles while scoring twice in a loss to the White Sox on Saturday.

Advice: Carroll was one of the few hitters who had any success against Erick Fedde and the White Sox bullpen, and he scored the only two runs in the contest for the D-Backs. It’s nice to see some extra-base hits from the 23-year-old, as he had picked up just three of them this month prior to Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:08 pm
    • Huge day at plate
Greene went 4-for-5 with one walk, two home runs and six RBI in Saturday's 13-5 win over the Astros.

Advice: Greene was a beast in this contest. He contributed a solo shot in the first inning, a three-run blast in the second and an RBI single in the third as the Tigers jumped out to a 10-0 lead. His sixth RBI of the day came on a bases-loaded walk in the eighth. The outfielder has driven in 12 runs during his six-game hitting streak and he's batting .321 (17-for-53) in June. The 23-year-old is up to 14 homers, 36 RBI, 48 runs scored, three stolen bases and a .256/.348/.488 slash line through 69 contests overall as he continues to cement himself as a building block for the Tigers during their ongoing rebuild. • Brandon Nimmo has two hits, two RBI in win
Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a win over the Padres.

Advice: Nimmo got the scoring going with an RBI double in the fourth inning and then tacked on an extra run with an RBI single in the eighth. It’s been a tough year for the 31-year-old, but he has two hits in each of the two games against the Padres, so perhaps he can turn it into a much better summer. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:36 pm
    • Riley Greene homers twice in win
Riley Greene went 4-for-5 with two home runs, six RBI and two runs scored in a 13-5 win over the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Greene didn’t hit for a ton of power last year while recovering from a shoulder injury, so there was a narrative that he was more of a slap hitter, but that was never the case. The 23-year-old is now up to 14 home runs on the season to go along with 36 RBI and a .836 OPS. He looks to be in the midst of a full-on breakout and has a bright fantasy future ahead of him. • Lifted for pinch runner
Seager returned to the lineup and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Friday's 3-2 loss to Seattle.

Advice: Seager was back in the lineup as the DH after being scratched Thursday due to ongoing issues with his hamstring. The one time he did reach base Friday -- a two-out, eighth-inning walk -- he was lifted for a pinch runner. That likely means manager Bruce Bochy didn't want Seager to risk aggravating his injury while trying to score a tying run, so the manager went with the speedier Travis Jankowski. For Seager, the walk extended his on-base streak to 30 games (.415 OBP). Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:58 am

    • Corey Seager hitless on Friday in return to lineup
Corey Seager (hamstring) went 0-for-3 on Friday in his return to the lineup.

Advice: Seager went 0-for-3 before being lifted for a pinch-runner in the late stages of Friday’s series opener against the Mariners. The Rangers have tried to be cautious with their 30-year-old superstar over the last few days as he attempts to play through a minor left hamstring issue. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him get a few extra maintenance days off moving forward in an effort to prevent the lingering issue from getting worse. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:07 am

    • Hunter Greene goes five in win over Brewers
Hunter Greene threw five innings of two-run ball against the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Greene sported some of his best velocity of the year tonight, but he walked five and gave up a homer to William Contreras, leading to the early exit. He got the win anyway, moving him to 5-2 with a 3.61 ERA on the season. He really should be even better than this, but he needs to cut back on the walks some. Rotoworld Friday, 10:24 pm

    • Picks up fifth win
Greene (5-2) allowed two runs on three hits and five walks over five innings Friday, striking out five and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Greene coughed up a solo homer to William Contreras in the third inning before Milwaukee scratched across another run in the fifth. Greene generated 14 swinging strikes but struggled with his command, matching his season high with five walks. He needed 105 pitches to complete five frames. Greene is sporting a 3.61 ERA with an 89:37 K:BB through 14 starts this season. His next outing is lined up to come in Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Friday, 9:09 pm
