      Bo Naylor went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base Thursday in a victory over the White Sox.

      Advice: It’s the second steal of the season for Naylor. The 24-year-old drove in two with a single in the third to extend Cleveland’s lead to 5-1.     • Bryce Harper (hamstring) getting closer to return
      Phillies manager Rob Thomson said both Bryce Harper (hamstring) and J.T. Realmuto (knee) are running at 75% intensity.

      Advice: The Phillies will be home for six games next week and then have the All-Star break, so there’s no reason to rush either Harper or Realmuto, but Thomson said that the Phillies won’t hold either of them back if they’re ready to go before the break. Given the nature of Realmuto’s injury and his age, it’s more likely Harper will return before the break than Realmuto. However, the Phillies have a solid lead in the NL East, so the team could decide to be cautious with both and hold them out for next week. One would assume that if the Phillies don’t bring either Harper or Realmuto back for the early week series against the Dodgers, they will certainly hold them out for the weekend series against the Athletics.     • Doing drills at 70-to-75 percent
      Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Thursday that Harper (hamstring) is currently able to go through drills at 70-to-75 percent intensity, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

      Advice: Harper is eligible for activation July 9 as he works his way back from a strained left hamstring. While the Phillies won't hesitate to activate Harper next week if he's ready, they do have the All-Star break looming the following week if they decide to give the first baseman a little more time.       Seager went 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Padres.

      Advice: Seager, who had been dealing with a wrist injury, was a late addition to the starting lineup and was back at his normal shortstop position, batting second.       Advice: Machado has picked up the pace in the power department with five homers over his last 12 contests. He's batting .354 (17-for-48) in that span while adding 14 RBI. The third baseman is up to .264/.314/.411 slash line with 11 homers, 47 RBI, 39 runs scored and five stolen bases over 82 contests. Considering he's exceeded 30 homers seven times in his career, it shouldn't be surprising if he has a big second half in 2024, though his slow start could prevent him from reaching that milestone this year.       Gray allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over four-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Padres on Wednesday.

      Advice: Gray gave up a two-run home run to Manny Machado in the third inning and labored again early in the fifth. This was the fourth time in Gray's last six appearances that he failed to complete five innings, though two of those short outings were by design following his return from a groin injury. The right-hander is now at a 3.92 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 71:22 K:BB over 80.1 innings across 17 appearances (15 starts) this year.       Greene went 3-for-4 with a triple, a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the Twins.

      Advice: Greene was an offensive force as he recorded his 16th home run of the season and pushed his OPS up to .851. The 23-year-old had already surpassed his previous career best of 11 home runs in a season, and he's now up to a career-high 43 RBI this year as well after Wednesday's effort. Greene could be closing in on his first All-Star appearance, but at the very least he's been a strong fantasy asset who continues to trend upward given his promising skill set.       Jon Gray allowed three earned runs in four-plus innings on Wednesday against the Padres. He struck out two and walked two.

      Advice: Gray labored in this one. He didn’t record a single 1-2-3 inning and was yanked after allowing the first two batters to reach in the fifth. He was much better earlier this season when he was throwing enough curveballs and changeups to keep hitters honest.     • Riley Greene has three hits, homer in lopsided win
      Riley Greene went 3-for-4 with a homer, triple and two RBI on Wednesday evening, helping to lead the Tigers to victory over the Twins.

      Advice: Greene smacked a two-out triple in the first inning, but the Tigers were unable to cash him in. He then reached on an infield single to load the bases with two outs in the third inning, then rode home on Carson Kelly’s grand slam. He also clubbed a 427-foot (111.8 mph EV) two-run blast off of David Festa in the fifth inning that extended the Tigers’ lead to 7-1.
