Bogaerts (shoulder) resumed running the bases, taking light grounders and doing one-handed drills in the batting cage this past week, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bogaerts broke his left shoulder while making a diving stop in the infield May 20 and remains on the 10-day IL. The veteran infielder isn't likely to return until July at the earliest, given that he has yet to take regular swings. When he does come back from the IL, Bogaerts indicated that he will adjust his swing to use a two-handed follow-through in order to protect his injured shoulder. He's undergoing regular imaging on the shoulder to determine when he'll be allowed to start ramping up further. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:02 am

    • Was available Friday
Manager Aaron Boone indicated after Friday's game that Torres (groin) was available off the bench, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Despite being available, Torres never entered the contest, leaving his status for Saturday's game in question. Jahmai Jones or Oswaldo Cabrera would likely enter the lineup if Torres remains on the bench. Rotowire.com Friday, 7:29 pm

    • MRI comes back clean
Torres (groin) was deemed day-to-day after his MRI came back clean Friday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Torres was lifted from Thursday's game as a precaution due to right groin discomfort, and an MRI confirmed that the injury isn't anything serious. Still, Torres may need a day or two for recovery, which could open up more work for Oswaldo Cabrera and Jahmai Jones. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:33 pm

    • Gleyber Torres (groin) held out of lineup Friday
Gleyber Torres (groin) was held out of the Yankees’ starting lineup for Friday’s tilt against the Braves.

Advice: The 27-year-old infielder made an early exit on Thursday due to tightness in his groin. While it’s considered a minor issue and isn’t likely to land him on the injured list, he’s going to need at least a couple of days before he’s ready to return to action. Oswaldo Cabrera will cover second base in his absence on Friday night and will bat ninth against Chris Sale and the Braves. Rotoworld Friday, 1:08 pm

    • Idle Friday
Torres (groin) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: Torres exited Thursday's game with right groin soreness and will get the night off Friday to recover. Oswaldo Cabrera will bat ninth and play second base. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:38 pm

    • Torres (groin) not dealing with major injury
Yankees manager Aaron Boone doesn’t expect Gleyber Torres’ groin injury to be anything major, according to the New York Daily News.

Advice: Torres left Thursday’s game against the Orioles with the injury, but the good news is the Yankees skipper isn’t anticipating a major injury. Expect Torres to stay off the injured list and return to the Yankees’ lineup over the weekend. Rotoworld Friday, 5:43 am

    • Exits as precaution
Torres (groin) did not suffer a serious injury Thursday against the Orioles, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Torres was removed in the sixth inning, though manager Aaron Boone noted that he was taking a cautious approach and that the issue isn't expected to be serious. Nevertheless, it will be worth confirming that Torres will be available Friday as the Yankees start a series against Atlanta. Rotowire.com Thursday, 4:27 pm

    • Leaves game early
Torres left in the sixth inning of Thursday's game versus the Orioles due to tightness in his right groin.

Advice: Prior to leaving the game, Torres hit a solo home run in the second inning and then later flied out in the fourth. Ben Rice was substituted into the game at first base for Torres, who started at second. Oswaldo Cabrera shifted over from third to second base. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:28 pm

    • Ha-Seong Kim draws rare day off on Tuesday night
Ha-Seong Kim is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: It’s an extremely rare day off for Kim, who has started every game for San Diego since May 23. The 28-year-old is struggling a little bit over the last few weeks, batting .213 (10-for-47) with two homers and six steals over his last 15 contests. It’ll be Tyler Wade drawing a rare start at shortstop on Tuesday evening against the Phillies. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:14 pm
