    Austin Riley (side) remains out of the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Pirates.

    Advice: Yikes. Riley has progressed to taking batting practice without any issues, but it appears the Braves don’t want to take any chances here. Atlanta manager Brian Snitker told reports Friday that he doesn’t expect Riley back until Monday’s series opener against the Nationals. The 27-year-old fantasy star hasn’t played since May 12 and will miss his 12th consecutive contest on Saturday afternoon at PNC Park.     Advice: The 27-year-old slugger is not in the Braves’ lineup on Friday night — the 11th consecutive game that he has missed due to a sore side. He continues to make progress though, and it’s possible he could be available off the bench at some point over the weekend.     Advice: Riley has been sidelined due to a left intercostal strain he sustained May 12 against the Mets. Despite the length of his absence, Atlanta did not place the 27-year-old third baseman on the 10-day IL in hopes he could return sooner, but Riley appears on track to rejoin the lineup following a weekend series against the Pirates.
