• Three hits in Sunday's win
Kelenic went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: The 24-year-old outfielder started the day on the bench with southpaw Martin Perez pitching for Pittsburgh, but he was pressed into duty when Ronald Acuna (knee) went down and scored multiple runs in a game for the first time in 2024. Kelenic has only five plate appearances against lefties so far this year, and his third-inning single off Perez was his first hit against one, but with Acuna now lost for the season, Atlanta may not be able to limit Kelenic to a strict platoon role. • Slump continues
Carter went 0-for-2 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Carter's hitless run reached 20 consecutive at-bats, and he's just two for his last 38. With Wyatt Langford (hamstring) possibly set to return Tuesday, the Rangers could send Carter back down to the minors to fix whatever is not working for him right now. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:10 am

  • Brandon Marsh has two hits in loss
Brandon Marsh went 2-for-2 with a walk and a caught stealing in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Marsh has cooled down from his strong start to the season, coming into the game hitting just .222 in 18 games in Marsh with no home runs after belting six in his first 28 games. It seems that Marsh changed his pull-heavy approach from April which led to a high strikeout rate but strong power numbers. Marsh is now striking out less but also pulling the ball less and slugging .259 in May compared to .505 in April. His early-season power was never going to continue, but his new approach makes him less interesting in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld May 26, 3:32 pm

  • Jarred Kelenic with three hits off the bench
Jarred Kelenic went 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored off the bench on Sunday in a win over the Pirates.

Advice: Kelenic came in for the injured Ronald Acuña Jr. on Sunday and delivered three hits on three hard-hit balls in the middle of multiple Braves’ rallies. Logic would tell us he has the most to gain from a serious injury to Acuña, but Atlanta has been unwilling to give him playing time against left-handed pitching. He did manage an infield single in this one off Martín Pérez, but has three strikeouts in his four other at-bats off lefties so far this season. Rotoworld May 26, 1:30 pm
  • Out against southpaw
Kelenic is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Advice: With Pittsburgh bringing a southpaw (Martin Perez) to the hill for the second time in the series, the lefty-hitting Kelenic will remain on the bench. Adam Duvall will fill in as Atlanta's left fielder and will bat sixth. Rotowire.com May 26, 7:52 am
  • Evan Carter batting ninth on Saturday for Rangers
Evan Carter is batting ninth on Saturday against the Twins.

Advice: Carter has batted pretty much everywhere in the Rangers’ lineup this season, but he’s been dropped to the ninth spot after batting .136 (6-for-44) with 16 strikeouts and only four walks over his last 15 contests. There are no easy answers here for fantasy managers, but the 21-year-old top prospect simply isn’t producing enough at the moment to make an impact. It’s tough to bail on him completely in re-draft formats, but the underlying batted ball data doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence in an immediate rebound. Rotoworld May 25, 8:38 am

  • Idle against lefty
Kelenic is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Pirates, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Kelenic won't face southpaw Bailey Falter on Friday. Instead, Adam Duvall will start in left field and bat eighth. Rotowire.com May 24, 12:05 pm
