• Plates pair in Friday's win
Raleigh went 1-for-3 with an RBI sacrifice fly and a run-scoring single in a win over the Angels on Friday.

Advice: Raleigh's timely hitting would prove to be essential in a one-run victory, with the backstop bringing home the first run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the opening frame before delivering a fifth-inning knock to plate J.P. Crawford and extend the Mariners' lead to 4-0 at the time. Raleigh had been mired in a 1-for-17 funk over the previous six games, however, and he's recorded just a sole extra-base hit over the 43 plate appearances spanning his last 12 games after lacing 14 over his first 41 contests of the campaign. • Jackson Holliday tallies two hits on Friday at AAA
Orioles 2B/SS prospect Jackson Holliday went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI on Friday for Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Holliday is one of the few top fantasy prospects still healthy in the upper minors at the moment and he’s clearly benefitting from the extra seasoning in the upper minors following his early-season demotion, batting .263 with four homers and three steals in 30 games since April 27. • Pete Alonso returns to lineup Friday vs. D-backs
Pete Alonso went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Friday against the Diamondbacks in his return to the Mets’ lineup.

Advice: Alonso was able to come off the bench and deliver a pinch-hit double during Thursday’s series opener, less than 24 hours after being diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right hand. The 29-year-old impending free agent was back in New York’s lineup on Friday night and should be good to go moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 4:45 am

  • Solid in no-decision
Suarez didn't factor into the decision Friday against Tampa Bay, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Suarez allowed a lone run in the second inning before settling in and blanking the Rays over his final three frames, allowing just one additional hit. The 34-year-old Suarez has allowed just one run over nine innings in two starts since returning to Baltimore's rotation. Overall, he's 2-0 with a 1.57 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB across 34.1 innings this year. With John Means (elbow) and Tyler Wells (elbow) both out for the year, Suarez could be in for an extended look as a starter. He's currently in line for a road matchup with Toronto in his next outing. • Albert Suárez strikes out five in five innings
Albert Suárez allowed one earned run across five innings on Friday against the Rays. He allowed four hits, two walks, and struck out five in a no-decision.

Advice: Suárez was solid in this one, keeping the Rays at bay besides for a Richie Palacios double followed by a Ben Rortvedt RBI single in the second inning. Notably, Suárez showed off a true four-pitch mix for the first time this season throwing his fastball, cutter, changeup, and curveball at least 13% of the time. There is space in the Orioles’ rotation and Suárez successfully expanding his repertoire could help him hold a spot. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:27 pm

  • Jake Burger goes 3-for-5 in win over Rangers
Jake Burger went 3-for-5 with a couple of runs scored Friday in the win over the Rangers.

Advice: Burger came into the night with a hideous .240 OBP, but the Marlins still had him hitting second in their lineup. Perhaps he’s starting to pull out of his slump; he has seven hits in his last three games, raising his average from .189 to .218. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:02 pm

  • Back in action Friday
Alonso (hand) is playing first and batting second during Friday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Alonso was hit by a pitch Wednesday, but after a clean CT scan and a day off Thursday, the first baseman will rejoin the Mets' starting nine. Alonso owns a .771 OPS and has the third most homers among first basemen this season with 12. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:05 pm

  • Smacks 10th homer
Paredes went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk Thursday against the Athletics.

Advice: Paredes tallied his 10th homer of the season and third in May, and he's hitting .301 with 15 RBI and 10 runs scored across 24 contests on the month. Paredes remains locked into either the third or fourth spot in the Rays' order, giving him plenty of opportunities to rack up counting stats. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:30 am

  • Launches game-winning homer
Martinez went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The 36-year-old DH came up big for the Mets, breaking a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the eighth inning by crushing the first pitch he saw from Ryan Thompson to straightaway center field. Martinez is settling into a groove, slashing .279/.323/.508 over his last 15 games with five doubles, three homers and nine RBI, but his 36.9 percent strikeout rate during that time is still worrisome.
