• Swipes another pair of bags Monday
Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases in Monday's 3-2 victory over Houston.

Advice: Rodriguez scored Seattle's second run in the first inning and padded his stat line with a pair of steals in the seventh. The star outfielder has four thefts over his past two contests following a 16-game stretch without any steals from May 9 to May 25. Though he's been pretty quiet with a .265/.309/.342 slash line on the season, Rodriguez has built some momentum in going 6-for-13 with two homers, five RBI, four runs and four stolen bases over his past three games. • Does it all Sunday
Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with a home run, four RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases in Sunday's 9-5 win against Washington.

Advice: Rodriguez did it all in this one, establishing a season-best with four RBI and recording a steal for the first time since May 8. The 23-year-old has largely been a disappointment this season, but performances such as this are a reminder of his incredible versatility. With home runs in consecutive games, Rodriguez might finally be heating up for fantasy managers. Rotowire.com May 26, 6:21 pm
  • Julio Rodríguez goes 3-for-5, homers in victory
Julio Rodríguez went 3-for-5 with a homer and four RBI as the Mariners bested the Nationals 9-5 on Sunday.

Advice: Rodríguez’s three knocks all checked in between 107 and 109 mph. The Mariners had him batting third today after placing him sixth the previous three days. Last year, a drop in the lineup saw him hit two homers in his first game as a No. 5 hitter and resulted in an immediate return to the top of the order. This year’s drop didn’t pay such immediate dividends, but he has now homered on back-to-back days. Rotoworld May 26, 4:59 pm
  • Pops third homer
Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: He provided the Mariners' lone run with his third homer of the season and first since May 12. Rodriguez has been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments through two months of the 2024 campaign -- even after Saturday's homer, his OPS sits at .618, exactly 200 points below his mark from last season. Manager Scott Servais recently moved Rodriguez down to the No. 6 spot in the lineup, and it looks like that's where the 23-year-old will remain until his bat gets going. Rotowire.com May 25, 11:55 pm
  • Racks up three steals in loss
Doyle went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run scored in Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Doyle has gone 15-for-54 (.278) with nine steals over his last 15 games. The outfielder's speed is not in question, but that's an impressive stretch on the basepaths for just about anyone. On the year, he's at 13 thefts on 14 attempts while slashing .272/.338/.433 over 201 plate appearances. He's added five home runs, 10 doubles, two triples, 15 RBI and 32 runs scored. • Doyle steals three bases on Saturday
Brenton Doyle went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three stolen bases against the Phillies on Saturday.

Advice: Doyle scored on an RBI ground out by Hunter Goodman in the second inning. He’s quietly having a nice season for the Rockies. Doyle’s average is .272 and he’s up to 13 stolen bases on the season now. Rotoworld May 25, 9:17 pm

  • J-Rod finally swats third homer in loss to WSH
Julio Rodríguez hit a solo homer while going 1-for-4 in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: J-Rod absolutely blistered a solo shot off Trevor Williams to tie the game at 1-1. The 23-year-old has homered just three times, and he has driven in just 15 runs over the first third of the season. Rodríguez also had a slow start to 2024 and still ended up one of the best fantasy options in baseball. Plenty of reason to believe that’ll be the case again, but there’s no denying this has been a frustrating first 53 games. Rotoworld May 25, 3:30 pm
