      Andrew Heaney allowed two runs — one earned — over six innings Monday against the A’s.

      Advice: Still no wins for Heaney, though the Rangers finally did prevail in one of his starts for the first time this season. Heaney remained 0-4 with a 4.50 ERA in spite of a second straight inspiring effort. He’s still in line to be supplanted if the Rangers get healthier. Expectations were that Max Scherzer would soon take his rotation spot, but the Rangers will likely still have room for him with Nathan Eovaldi and Cody Bradford on the shelf.       Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a double, a run and a stolen base Monday in a loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Chisholm put his speed on display in the first inning, reaching on a leadoff infield single, swiping second base and coming around to score on a single. He finished with his second straight multi-hit game, and he's stolen three bases over that pair of contests.       Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 win against the Marlins.

      Advice: Hernandez hit one of four Dodgers homers in the contest, smashing a 418-foot solo shot in the third inning. It was his second straight game with a long ball, and he's gone deep three times in his past four games.       Advice: Schwarber belted the long ball in the eighth inning off Tyler Rogers, giving the Phillies an additional run of cushion heading into the ninth. Schwarber also reached base in the fifth inning on a single and was driven in on a Bryce Harper homer. Over his last 10 games, Schwarber is 11-for-42 (.262) with 11 runs scored and nine RBI.       Advice: Heaney notched his second straight quality start, but a strong outing by opposing starter Alex Wood kept him from picking up his first win of the season. Nonetheless, Heaney was impressive in the start, inducing 15 swinging strikes and finishing without issuing a free pass for his third consecutive appearance. The left-hander failed to get through five frames in each of his first three starts of the season but has now done so in each of his subsequent four outings, and he's gone at least six frames in three straight trips to the mound.       Teoscar Hernández hit a solo homer while going 2-for-4 in a win over the Marlins on Monday.

      Advice: He also singled. It’s the ninth homer of the season for Hernández, and one of four the Dodgers hit off Marlins starter Roddery Muñoz in Monday’s victory. The outfielder has also driven in 26 runs over 37 games with a decent — if unspectacular — slash of .259/.325/.490. So far, so good in Hernández’s first season as a member of the Dodgers.       Diaz earned a save against the Cardinals on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Diaz blew his first save of the season Sunday against Tampa Bay, but he went right back to work with the Mets holding a one-run ninth-inning lead a day later. The star closer didn't falter this time, retiring all three batters he faced on 11 pitches. The save was Diaz's fifth of the campaign and his first since April 15.       Advice: Díaz got the call to protect a narrow one-run margin in the final frame during Monday’s series opener at Busch Stadium and needed just 11 pitches (seven strikes) to slam the door. He struck out Alec Burleson before coaxing ground outs from Brendan Donovan and Masyn Winn to end the contest.       Advice: Steele limited San Diego’s offense to just three hits and one walk, notching a pair of strikeouts, in his return at Wrigley Field following a five-weeks absence due to a hamstring strain. The 28-year-old ace averaged nearly 92 mph on his four-seam fastball in this one and got his pitch count up to 68 (43 strikes) before being lifted in the fifth inning.
