    • Out again versus lefty
Stott is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Marlins.

Advice: Stott was out of the lineup Tuesday against a lefty and will also begin this one on the bench as the Marlins send southpaw Trevor Rogers to the hill. He did pinch hit in Tuesday's contest, so perhaps another mid-game appearance is possible. Whit Merrifield is handling second base for the Phillies on Thursday. Rotowire.com Today, 11:48 am

    • Bryson Stott gets a day off on Thursday
Bryson Stott is not in the Phillies’ starting lineup on Thursday.

Advice: Stott will get a routine day off on Thursday with left-handed Trevor Rogers on the mound. Edmundo Sosa will start at shortstop and bat sixth with Whit Merrifield starting at 2B. Trea Turner is also at DH with Kyle Schwarber moving to left field as David Dahl sits against a lefty. Rotoworld Today, 11:45 am

    • Runs hit streak to eight games
India went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Advice: No one in baseball is hotter than India, who leads MLB with a .571 average and is second in OPS (1.654) over the last seven days. He's hit safely in eight straight contests, going 15-for-29 with four walks, two steals, seven doubles, one home run, three RBI and eight additional runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:08 am

    • Crushes another leadoff shot
Ohtani went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox while also drawing two walks.

Advice: For the second game in a row, Ohtani crushed a leadoff home run to open the contest, giving the superstar slugger 25 long balls on the season and 11 in the month of June. He's now homered in five of his last six games and has posted at least one RBI in 10 straight, raising his league-leading average to .322 on the campaign. Ohtani has also drawn at least one walk in six consecutive games. Rotowire.com Today, 4:48 am

    • Yields five runs in no-decision
Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing five runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Eovaldi had a troublesome third inning, allowing Jackson Chourio to reach on a leadoff single before letting Christian Yelich and Willy Adames get on base with two outs, leading to a Jake Bauers grand slam. The other run charged to Eovaldi came in the fourth frame, when Derek Hill couldn't make a diving catch in center field, allowing Chourio to get all the way around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Eovaldi's five runs allowed tied his season high, and he's allowed a home run in five consecutive starts. Overall, he owns a 3.45 ERA and 74 strikeouts across 73.0 innings. He's on track to face the Padres in Arlington early next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:07 pm
    • Picks up fourth steal
Goldschmidt went 2-for-7 with a double, a walk, one RBI, one stolen base and two runs scored across both games of Wednesday's doubleheader versus Atlanta.

Advice: While far from a breakout on offense, Goldschmidt has hit safely in nine straight games. In that span, he's gone 11-for-37 (.297) with a 3:12 BB:K, two home runs and five RBI. The first baseman's power and consistency are slowly returning, but he's still striking out at a 29.5 percent rate, his worst mark since his rookie year. Goldschmidt has added a .232/.301/.364 slash line with 10 homers, 32 RBI, 38 runs scored and four steals over 76 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:10 pm

    • Shohei Ohtani slugs solo homer in win over White Sox
Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, two walks, and two runs scored in the Dodgers’ 4-0 win over the White Sox on Wednesday.

Advice: Ohtani took Erick Fedde deep to lead off the first inning, setting a Dodgers record with an RBI in 10 straight games. He then drew a walk in the third and scored on a double by Freddie Freeman. Ohtani walked once again in the seventh to reach for the third time. The 29-year-old superstar is slashing .322/.402/.643 with 25 homers, 65 runs scored, 61 RBI, and 16 steals across 360 plate appearances as we reach the midway point of the season. • Blue Jays and Red Sox suspended due to rain
Wednesday’s game between the Blue Jays and Red Sox in Boston was suspended due to rain.

Advice: There hadn’t been any rain in the forecast, but a storm popped up early in the second inning and washed out any chances of the two sides getting this game in. The game will resume on August 26 in the top half of the second inning, with the Blue Jays having a runner at first base with one out. Unfortunately for this week, both Kutter Crawford and Yariel Rodriguez won’t be able to deliver anything for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:00 pm

    • Nathan Eovaldi gives up first ever grand slam
Nathan Eovaldi surrendered five runs in seven innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Brewers.

Advice: Jake Bauers’ third-inning grand slam accounted for most of the damage. It was actually the first slam ever surrendered by Eovaldi; the league had hit just .227/.228/.267 in 79 career plate appearances with the bases loaded. He’s allowed a homer in five straight starts after giving up just three total through eight turns. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:17 pm
