    • Pulled after four innings
Bibee did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Tigers, allowing four runs on five hits in four innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Bibee looked sharp early Wednesday, allowing just one hit through his first three innings. However, things went south in the fourth, when Bibee allowed four runs on four hits. While Cleveland would ultimately rally for a win in 10 innings, it was another disappointing start from Bibee -- he's now allowed 10 runs over nine innings in his last two outings. Overall, the 25-year-old right-hander is 2-1 with a 4.91 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 44:13 K:BB in eight starts (40.1 innings) this season. Bibee's currently slated for a tough road matchup against the Rangers early next week. Rotowire.com Today, 2:48 pm

    • Hayden Wesneski completes six in loss to Padres
Hayden Wesneski surrendered three runs over six innings on Wednesday in a loss to the Padres.

Advice: Wesneski coughed up an early run, but managed to hang in there against Padres counterpart Dylan Cease, who simply out-dueled him during Wednesday afternoon’s showdown at historic Wrigley Field. He tallied three strikeouts and handed out only one free pass. The 26-year-old former pitching prospect has excelled of late, allowing three earned runs or fewer in three straight starts since joining Chicago’s starting rotation back on April 28. He’ll bring a sparkling 1.59 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 17/4 K/BB ratio across 22 2/3 innings (five appearances, three starts) into a challenging road matchup on Tuesday against the Braves. He’s still too risky to trust in shallow mixed leagues, but he’s done enough to merit consideration in deeper formats. Rotoworld Today, 2:16 pm

    • Brice Turang collects three hits in Brewers’ loss
Brice Turang went 3-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday in the Brewers’ loss to the Royals.

Advice: Turang capped off a three-hit performance with a run-scoring double off Royals reliever Tyler Duffey in the ninth inning, but wound up being stranded in scoring position representing the potential tying run. The 24-year-old speedster has made the most of his opportunity this season, emerging as Milwaukee’s everyday second baseman, posting an .826 OPS with two homers and 14 steals through 34 contests so far. • James McArthur gets two out save Wednesday vs Brewers
James McArthur converted a two-out save on Wednesday against the Brewers.

Advice: McArthur was summoned to record the final two outs in the ninth inning after Tyler Duffey gave up an RBI double to Brice Turang that put the potential tying runs in scoring position with only one out in the frame. He got William Contreras and Christian Yelich to both ground out harmlessly to put out the fire and preserve Kansas City’s victory. The 27-year-old righty has converted eight saves to go along with a 4.15 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 18/3 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings (15 appearances). Rotoworld Today, 1:57 pm
    • Still experiencing thumb soreness
Yoshida is still experiencing discomfort in his left thumb and will be examined by a specialist Wednesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Yoshida could receive additional opinions, noting Wednesday that he's been told he's dealing with "a rare injury" and is still figuring out the best way to proceed with his recovery. He's been out for all of May with the injury, and a timetable for his return from the 10-day injured list remains up in the air. Rotowire.com Today, 1:49 pm

    • Tanner Bibee pulled after four against Tigers
Tanner Bibee gave up four runs in four innings Wednesday in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: Bibee cruised through three innings, allowing just one single, but everything went wrong in the fourth, which started with a single to conclude a 10-pitch at-bat. The Tigers wound up getting three more hits, as well as a key HBP, to produce a four-run inning in which Bibee threw more pitches (43) than in the first three combined (39). It was such a long inning that the Guardians didn’t bring Bibee back out for the fifth. Unfortunately, Bibee will miss the four-game series against the White Sox this weekend and make his next start in Texas against the Rangers. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm

    • Out of lineup with illness again
Rengifo (illness) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Advice: Rengifo will miss out on a fifth consecutive start while he continues to recover from an illness. With Rengifo stuck on the bench once again, the Angels will clear a spot in the infield for Ehire Adrianza, who will start at second base and bat leadoff Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:19 am

    • Makes season debut
Sewald allowed a run on one hit and struck out one over one inning in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Reds.

Advice: Sewald made his season debut Tuesday in a non-save situation -- a low-key introduction after spending the first six-plus weeks on the injured list due to an oblique injury. He allowed a home run to Tyler Stephenson while mopping up in the ninth inning. Arizona manager Torey Lovullo told Steve Gilbert of MLB.com that Sewald would reclaim the closer's role from Kevin Ginkel. Rotowire.com Today, 3:50 am
    • Surrenders go-ahead homer
McArthur (1-2) took the loss and blew the save Tuesday against Milwaukee, allowing three runs on three hits and a walk over one inning. He didn't log a strikeout.

Advice: For a second straight appearance, McArthur took the mound in the ninth with the Royals leading and surrendered a game-altering home run. This time, Willy Adames put the Brewers up 6-5 with a three-run shot that plated William Contreras and Gary Sanchez with two outs. Despite blowing back-to-back saves, fantasy managers shouldn't panic about McArthur, considering he hadn't allowed a run in nine consecutive appearances prior to the stretch.
