    • Sent for imaging on knee
O'Neill has been sent back to Boston to receive imaging on his sore right knee, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Red Sox manager Alex Cora indicated that it's more for peace of mind than a worry that O'Neill is dealing with a significant injury, but it's still not an encouraging development. O'Neill is missing a third straight start Tuesday, and it's safe to assume he won't play in the series finale in Baltimore on Wednesday, either. The Red Sox will begin a homestand Thursday versus the Tigers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:42 pm

    • Tyler O’Neill (knee) remains out Tuesday vs. O’s
Tyler O’Neill (knee) is not in the starting lineup against the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: O’Neill will miss his third straight game after being removed from Saturday’s game with right knee soreness. Rob Refsnyder is the designated hitter against Baltimore, and he’ll hit third against Grayson Rodriguez and the Orioles pitching staff. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:12 pm

    • Remains out Tuesday
O'Neill (knee) remains out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Orioles.

Advice: O'Neill had said previously that he was aiming to return to action Tuesday after missing two games with a sore right knee, but he'll instead begin a third straight contest on the bench. Rob Refsnyder is occupying the designated hitter spot for the Red Sox on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:10 pm

    • Quality start again in win
Parker (4-2) earned the win Monday against Atlanta, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: With a 100-pitch effort, Parker tossed his second straight quality start and third of the season. The Nationals starter generated a solid 17 whiffs to collect his six strikeouts. The 24-year-old lefty continues an impressive rookie campaign, now owning a 3.45 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 38:8 K:BB in 44.1 innings. Parker is tentatively scheduled to pitch against the Guardians on the road in his next start. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:07 pm
    • Parker picks up fourth win against Braves Monday
Mitchell Parker allowed three runs in 6 ⅓ innings and picked up the win in the Nationals’ 8-4 victory over the Braves on Monday.

Advice: The win was Parker’s fourth of the season. He allowed five hits, no walks and struck out six. Parker held the Braves scoreless in the first six innings before running into trouble in the seventh. He allowed an RBI groundout to Sean Murphy and a two-run home run to Adam Duvall before he was removed. Parker lowered his ERA to 3.45. He now has a SO:BB ratio of 38:8 in eight starts this year. The 24-year-old left-hander is set to face the Guardians on the road this weekend.

    • Chourio has two hits, RBI Monday
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-4 with an RBI double against the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Chourio tacked on with an RBI double in the eighth inning to extend the Brewers’ lead to 5-0. Despite his lofty prospect status and contract, he’s hitting just .218 with a .603 OPS on the season.

    • Secures seventh save
Duran picked up the save Monday against Kansas City. He pitched one-third of an inning with no strikeouts, allowing one unearned run on two hits.

Advice: Duran entered to collect the last out with runners on second and third and a four-run lead. The Twins reliever barely survived as a hit-by-pitch, two hits and a fielding error allowed three runs to cross. However, after all that chaos, Duran promptly retired Bobby Witt via a one-pitch groundout with runners on second and third to walk away victorious. The flamethrowing righty has secured the last four Minnesota saves, posting a 2.70 ERA and 3:1 K:BB over 3.1 innings during that span. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:28 pm

    • Absent from lineup
Diaz is absent from the lineup for Monday's contest in Seattle.

Advice: Victor Caratini will do the catching for Framber Valdez. Diaz -- who had started the last three games and five of the last six -- has just a .501 OPS in May. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:10 pm

    • Jhoan Duran hangs on for one-out save Monday
Jhoan Duran notched a one-out save on Monday against the Royals.

Advice: Technically it’ll go down as the seventh save of the season for Duran as he came on to face MJ Melendez with the potential tying run in the on-deck circle. Things got interesting shortly afterwards as he wound up hitting Melendez with a two-strike pitch before ensuing batter Dairon Blanco followed with a run-scoring single that put the potential tying run on-base. A throwing error by third baseman Willi Castro allowed another run to cross the plate, making it a one-run ballgame in the process, before Duran retired Bobby Witt Jr. on a soft comebacker to end the contest.
