    • Snaps homer drought
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 4-1 win against the Marlins.

Advice: Pasquantino put the Royals on the board in the fourth inning with his solo blast to right field. It was the first baseman's first long ball since the first day of June, a span of 20 contests. While Pasquantino hasn't been able to hit the ball over the fence regularly this season, he does have 20 doubles (tied for 10th in the majors) and has already blown away his previous season-best mark with 47 RBI through 76 games. • Notches second save of June
McArthur earned a save against the Marlins on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: McArthur entered in the ninth frame with Kansas City up by three runs and made quick work of Miami, retiring the side in order on 10 pitches. That netted him his first save since June 6 and his 13th overall this season. McArthur's 18-day span between saves was of no fault of his own -- he didn't see any save opportunities during that stretch, and the only save by any KC pitcher during that period came in a game during which McArthur was used in a high-leverage spot and ended up with the victory. With that in mind, McArthur remains the top option for save chances in the Royals' bullpen. Rotowire.com Today, 10:36 pm
    • Stays hot Monday
Guerrero went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and a double in Monday's loss to Boston.

Advice: Guerrero knocked a three-run blast to cap off Toronto's five-run seventh inning. He hit (.235) through 14 games to begin the month but has since gone 12-for-34 (.353) with three homers over his last eight contests. Those three homers have come in his last four games after he hit just three over his previous 39 appearances. Guerrero is slashing .286/.368/.429 with 36 RBI and 23 extra-base hits. • McArthur picks up 13th save against Marlins
James McArthur tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: The save was McArthur’s 13th of the season. He’s been a little shaky this season with a 4.70 ERA, but the Royals don’t necessarily have a better option to turn to for saves. It was just McArthur’s second save in the month of June, but it looks like the Royals will continue to lean on him when the opportunity arises. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 pm
    • Fans seven in quality start
Houck allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over 6.2 innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out seven during the win against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Houck gave up just one run through six frames before the Blue Jays put two more runs on his final line during their five-run seventh inning. He's produced six quality starts in his last seven outings, giving him 13 through 16 total starts. Houck owns a terrific 2.18 ERA with a 101:18 K:BB through 103.1 frames. His next start is projected to be at home against the Padres. Rotowire.com Today, 7:22 pm
    • Vlad Jr. sends 10th home run to the moon
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-4 with a double and three-run home run against the Red Sox on Monday night.

Advice: The home run was Guerrero Jr.’s 10th of the season. He hit a three-run shot 471 feet over the left field wall off Boston reliever Isaiah Campbell. It was Guerrero Jr.’s second consecutive game with a home run and third home run in his last four games. He’s hitting .286 with a .797 OPS and 36 RBI on the season.

    • Houck allows two earned runs in no-decision Monday
Tanner Houck allowed three runs (two earned) in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Red Sox’ 7-6 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Houck gave up five hits, walked one and struck out seven. Boston only scored two runs while he was in the game before coming back to win late. Houck’s ERA is now 2.18 on the year and his 101 strikeouts on the season rank inside the top 15 in all of baseball. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home this weekend.

    • MLB suspends Edwin Díaz for 10 games
MLB suspended RHP Edwin Díaz for 10 games for violating the prohibitions on foreign substances.

Advice: The suspension became automatic the moment Díaz was tossed last night, though he can appeal it. Díaz said after the game that all he had on his hand was rosin, sweat and dirt. The Mets will go back to getting by with Adam Ottavino and Reed Garrett in the ninth. Rotoworld Today, 3:30 pm

    • Handed 10-game suspension
The league has suspended Diaz for 10 games for violating the foreign-substance policy, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Diaz was ejected from Sunday's game against the Cubs after failing the "sticky substance" from the crew chief upon entering the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. Diaz has the option to appeal, but if he doesn't, the 30-year-old closer will be out until July 6 against the Pirates. If Diaz opts to not appeal, Adam Ottavino and Reed Garrett will be the likely candidates to step in for save opportunities. Rotowire.com Today, 3:27 pm
