    • Willy Adames hits two homers versus former club
Willy Adames hit a pair of homers to drive in four runs against his former team in a win over the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: Adames has three homers and eight RBI the last two days. It looked like he might bat lower in the order than usual this year, and he did hit fifth against the Mets on Opening Day. However, he’s hit fourth or higher every game since, and he’s now up to 21 RBI in 30 games for the season. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:49 pm

    • Cranks two more homers
Adames went 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and four RBI in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rays.

Advice: Adames extended the Brewers' lead to 3-0 with a solo shot off Zach Eflin in the sixth inning before breaking the game open with a three-run blast off Erasmo Ramirez in the seventh. Adames now has three homers and eight RBI in his last two contests after going 16 games without a long ball. Overall, the 28-year-old shortstop is slashing .278/.373/.496 with six homers, 21 RBI, 18 runs scored and four steals through 30 games this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:23 pm

    • Slugs fourth homer
Adames went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, four RBI and a walk during Tuesday's 8-2 win over the Rays.

Advice: Adames hit a sacrifice fly in the first inning to drive in William Contreras and put Milwaukee on the scoreboard, but his fifth-inning three-run shot off Jacob Lopez blew the game open and gave Milwaukee a 6-1 lead. The 28-year-old shortstop boasts a .270/.369/.441 slash line through 130 plate appearances this season, though his performance was trending downward prior to his outburst Tuesday. • Bo Bichette drives in run in loss
Bo Bichette went 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI in a loss to the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Bichette continues to make an elite amount of contact but also swing at pitches that he can’t really do much damage on. As a result, he has a .213 average and just a .306 slugging percentage on the season. The RBI was his 11th of the year, and while the 26-year-old could likely use a more selective approach at the plate, he’s too talented to take out of your lineup right now. • Willy Adames homers, drives in four vs. Rays
Willy Adames went 1-for-3 with a home run and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

Advice: Adames put the Brewers on the board with a sacrifice fly in the first inning but sent a three-run blast into the stands in the fifth inning to give the Brewers a comfortable 6-1 advantage. It was a strong way for Adames to close out a month in which he slashed .270/.369/.441 while belting four homers and driving in 17 runs. He’s also scored 16 runs. He’s hitting for a solid average and providing plenty of runs scored and runs driven in, making for a solid player across multiple categories heading into May. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:51 pm

    • Bo Bichette gets a day off on Monday
Bo Bichette is not in the lineup on Monday against the Royals

Advice: It’s been a tough start to the year for Bichette, who is slashing just .210/.263/.305 with one home run and three steals. Bichette continues to make a solid amount of contact, but he also continues to chase pitches outside of the zone at a high rate. Even though he makes contact on those pitches, and has a lower swinging strike rate than last year, he’s now hitting the ball on the ground over 52 percent of the time and has just a 2.3 percent barrel rate. His approach may need to change in order for him to get back to his high batting average. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is starting at shortstop and betting eighth in his place. • Steps out of starting nine
Bichette is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Royals.

Advice: The Blue Jays haven't indicated that Bichette is nursing an injury or dealing with an illness, so his absence from the lineup for Monday's series opener likely amounts to a maintenance day. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will slide over from third base to man shortstop in place of Bichette, who had started in every game dating back to April 2. Bichette's day off comes while he's managed just one hit in 18 at-bats over his last five games, dropping his batting average to .210 for the season. Rotowire.com Monday, 12:11 pm
