    • J.T. Realmuto on bench to begin Sunday vs. Nats
J.T. Realmuto is not in the lineup to begin Sunday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: Realmuto will take a seat Sunday for the finale against the Nationals. Garrett Stubbs will handle catching duties in Realmuto’s absence and hit eighth. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Dominant in first win
Buehler (1-1) earned the win over the Reds on Saturday, striking out seven over six shutout innings while allowing three hits.

Advice: Buehler looked like his old self for the first time since returning from the injured list, allowing just one single over the first four innings and one extra-base hit on the night while posting a season-high seven strikeouts. The right-hander hadn't gone more than four innings in either of his previous two starts to open the campaign and had also allowed at least one home run in each of those outings. However, Buehler might have found his groove Saturday as he managed to get through six frames on just 78 pitches while also allowing just three hits, which marked a season low. • Spencer Steer goes 0-for-3 in loss to Dodgers
Spencer Steer went 0-for-3 with a strikeout on Saturday in the Reds’ shutout loss at the hands of the Dodgers.

Advice: It’s probably too early to panic, but Steer is batting just .165 (18-for-109) with one homer and eight steals over his last 30 games. The 26-year-old’s plate skills remain solid and his underlying Statcast batted ball metrics point to some regression on the way. Rotoworld Today, 3:48 am

    • Walker Buehler beats Reds for first win since ’22
Walker Buehler recorded seven strikeouts over six shutout innings on Saturday against the Reds for his first win since May 24, 2022.

Advice: Buehler authored his strongest start since returning earlier this month from a lengthy rehabilitation from his second career Tommy John surgery, scattering just three hits over six nearly-flawless frames. The hard-throwing 29-year-old righty generated only eight swinging strikes, but was consistently filling up the zone, resulting in a robust 35 percent CSW. He’s starting to look like an upper-echelon fantasy contributor again, but it’s probably going to take him some time to continue knocking off the rust. He’s in line for a rematch against the Reds on Friday in Cincinnati. Rotoworld Today, 3:43 am
    • Mixed bag in no-decision
Castillo did not factor into the decision Saturday in Baltimore, permitting two runs on four hits and four walks over six innings. He struck out two.

Advice: The four walks were a season high and the two strikeouts were by far a season low for Castillo. He still managed a seventh straight quality start, keeping his team in it before the Mariners' offense rallied late. It marks the first no-decision of the season for Castillo, who is just 4-5 despite a 3.28 ERA, including a 2.01 mark across his last seven outings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:55 pm
    • Luis Castillo posts quality start in no-decision
Luis Castillo posted a quality start in a no-decision against the Orioles on Saturday, allowing just two runs on four hits across his six innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander also issued four free passes on the day while recording only two strikeouts. The damage done against him came early in this one, as Austin Hays swatted a sacrifice fly in the second inning and Ryan O’Hearn added a run-scoring single in the third. Castillo generated only five swings and misses on 89 pitches on the night, posting an underwhelming CSW of 21 percent. He’ll attempt to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.28 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 66/15 K/BB ratio (60 1/3 innings) into Thursday’s matchup against the Yankees in New York. • Tosses quality start Saturday
Gausman came away with a no-decision in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Rays, giving up three runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: The veteran right-hander cruised through five innings before running into trouble in the sixth and allowing all three of his runs. It was a solid bounce-back effort for Gausman after he got tagged for seven runs (six earned) in his last outing, and the quality start was his third of the season. He'll take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 43:11 K:BB through 42.1 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Detroit. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:34 pm
    • Goes yard twice against ChiSox
Soto went 4-for-4 with a walk, two home runs and three RBI in Saturday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The 25-year-old had his best game yet as a Yankee, taking Brad Keller deep in the first and fifth innings. It was Soto's first multi-hit performance, and first long balls, since May 8, and through 47 games on the season he carries a .317/.414/.561 slash line with 11 homers, four steals, 32 runs and 37 RBI. • Kevin Gausman goes six innings in no-decision
Kevin Gausman allowed three runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Gausman had worked around four hits through five scoreless frames before the Rays would get to him in the sixth. Two base hits and a walk would load the bases with two outs. Amed Rosario knocked a single to plate two runs. José Caballero followed with a single to bring in one more before Gausman got out of the inning. He struck out six. The 33-year-old right-hander will take a 4.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and a 43/11 K/BB ratio across 42 1/3 innings into a start against the Tigers in Detroit on Thursday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:56 pm
