    • Bobby Witt Jr. collects three hits in loss Wednesday
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI against the Yankees on Wednesday.

Advice: Witt Jr. extended his hit streak to 13 games with a double in the sixth inning to drive in the first run of the game for the Royals. He then scored on a sacrifice fly by Salvador Perez. Witt Jr. drove in a second run with a single in the seventh before scoring on a bases loaded walk by Perez. The 23-year-old shortstop collected his third hit with an infield single in the ninth, ending his day slashing .326/.375/.563 with 11 homers, 58 runs scored, 50 RBI, and 19 steals across 307 plate appearances. • Jazz Chisholm Jr. has two hits in loss to Mets
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Wednesday night as the Marlins fell to the Mets at Citi Field.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old smacked a run-scoring single off of David Peterson in the fifth inning that pulled the Marlins to within a run at 5-4. That would wind up being the extent of their scoring in the contest. With his two-hit effort, Chisholm is now hitting .250/.318/.425 to go along with nine homers, 32 RBI and 12 stolen bases. • CJ Abrams leaves the yard in victory over Tigers
CJ Abrams homered, doubled and drove in a pair of runs on Wednesday, propelling the Nationals to a 7-5 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Abrams got the Nationals on the board with a game-tying 404-foot (104.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Reese Olson in the third inning. He then smacked an RBI double and scored on a run-scoring single off the bat of Jesse Winker during a three-run uprising in the fifth inning. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 23-year-old shortstop is now slashing .248/.296/.472 with 11 homers, 34 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm

    • Next start pushed back
Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that Yamamoto's next start will be pushed back from Thursday against the Rangers in Los Angeles to Saturday's home game versus Kansas City, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: The Dodgers haven't announced a replacement starter for Thursday's contest, but they will give the rookie right-hander an extra couple of days to rest up after he threw a season-high 106 pitches across seven scoreless innings during his last outing against the Yankees on June 7. The 25-year-old has put up a 2.50 ERA and 1.11 WHIP alongside a 22:5 K:BB across 18 innings over his last three starts. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:38 pm
    • Rebounds for sixth win
Lopez (6-6) earned the win Wednesday over Colorado, allowing two runs on five hits over five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: It was an encouraging outing for Lopez after he allowed seven runs and six walks in a loss to the Yankees in his last start. The right-hander notably didn't allow a free pass Wednesday. Overall, it's been an inconsistent first quarter of the season for Lopez -- his ERA sits at 5.33 with a 1.21 WHIP and 84:17 K:BB across 14 starts (76 innings). The 28-year-old Lopez is currently lined up to face the Rays at home early next week in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:30 pm

    • Receives injection for back
Munoz had an MRI and bone scan on his back come back clean, but he received an injection Tuesday to address the lingering soreness, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Advice: The right-hander last pitched Sunday in Kansas City and has made just two appearances in June while battling through the back issue. Munoz hasn't officially been declared unavailable, but the Mariners may try to stay away from him for another day or two as he recovers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:10 pm

    • Yordan Alvarez swats 14th homer in loss to Giants
Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer on Wednesday in the Astros’ loss to the Giants.

Advice: Alvarez took Giants ace Logan Webb deep with a monstrous 405-foot blast to center field in the sixth inning. He also had a 414-foot double in the fourth inning that would’ve been a homer in virtually every other ballpark besides Oracle Park. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has caught fire over the last few weeks, batting .390 (23-for-59) with five homers over his last 15 games. He’s also chipped in a pair of stolen bases during that span as well, just for good measure. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:21 pm
    • Sitting Wednesday
Robert isn't in the White Sox's lineup for Wednesday's game against Seattle.

Advice: Robert has slashed .148/.233/.481 with three homers and four RBI in seven games since returning from the injured list. He'll get a breather Wednesday while Corey Julks, Oscar Colas and Zach DeLoach start across the Sox's outfield. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:56 pm
    • Luis Robert Jr. getting a night off on Wednesday
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the White Sox’ starting lineup for Wednesday evening’s tilt against the Mariners.

Advice: The White Sox have been careful as they ease their 26-year-old superstar back into action after missing nearly two months with a hip injury. He’ll presumably be available off the bench in this one. On the season, he’s slashing just .182/.237/.491 to go along with five homers, eight RBI and one swipe in his first 14 games.
