      Emmanuel Clase tossed a perfect ninth inning on Monday against the Mets to record his league-leading 14th save of the season.

      Advice: Clase was summoned to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and needed just 12 pitches (seven strikes) to end the contest. The 26-year-old elite stopper has converted a major league-leading 14 of 17 save opportunities to go along with a microscopic 0.37 ERA, 0.58 WHIP and 24/2 K/BB ratio across 24 1/3 innings (25 appearances).       Andrés Muñoz served up a solo home run against the Orioles in the ninth inning on Saturday, but managed to escape the frame with a one-run lead to earn his eighth save of the season.

      Advice: Muñoz came on after the Mariners scored a pair of runs in the eighth inning to take the lead, and despite the solo homer he made it stand up. He struck out Cedric Mullins and got Kyle Stowers to line out to first base to start the inning. The 25-year-old right-hander then fell behind Gunnar Henderson and served up a two-out, solo blast that pulled the Orioles to within a run. That would be as close as they would get though as he punched out Adley Rutschman to end it. Munoz now holds a 1.86 ERA to go along with eight saves and a pair of victories on the season.
