    Eddie Rosario belted his third home run of the season on Wednesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Nationals to victory over the Orioles.

    Advice: With the Nationals trailing by two runs and down to their final out in the ninth inning, Rosario started an uprising with a solo shot off of Orioles’ closer Craig Kimbrel. He also drew a walk in the 11th inning and scored the tying run on a sacrifice fly by Jacob Young.   • Mitchell Parker pitches well in no-decision vs O’s
    Mitchell Parker pitched well in a no-decision against the Orioles on Wednesday night, allowing just two runs on five hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work.

    Advice: The 24-year-old hurler punched out three batters on the night while issuing one free pass. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Anthony Santander blasting a solo homer in the fourth inning and Gunnar Henderson adding a solo shot in the sixth. Parker got seven swings and misses on 77 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 26 percent. He’ll look to get back in the win column as he brings a 2.67 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 22/5 K/BB ratio (27 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the White Sox in Chicago.     Paul DeJong clobbered a go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth inning on Wednesday, powering the White Sox to a 4-1 victory over the Rays.

    Advice: DeJong tagged Rays’ starter Aaron Civale for his 400-foot (104.2 mph EV) two-run shot, scoring Bryan Ramos who had led off the inning with a double. He also singled in the sixth inning and scored on a two-out RBI single off the bat of Tommy Pham.   • Michael Kopech closes out Rays to earn third save
    Michael Kopech picked up his third save of the season on Wednesday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to protect a three-run lead against the Rays.

    Advice: Despite the fact that he allowed a one-out single to Harold Ramirez, Kopech still made it look easy — battling right back to get Isaac Paredes to bounce into a game-ending double play. He needed just 10 pitches (seven strikes) to get the job done. Save chances have been few and far between for the White Sox this season, but Kopech has done a nice job overall with a 3.93 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and a 25/10 K/BB ratio across his 18 1/3 innings while converting three of his first four save chances.   • Chris Flexen strikes out eight in win over Rays
    Chris Flexen delivered a dominant performance in Wednesday’s victory over the Rays, racking up eight strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball.

    Advice: The 29-year-old right-hander scattered just three hits and one walk on the evening. The only blemish on his day came in the form of an RBI double by Isaac Paredes in the fourth inning. Flexen generated 12 swings and misses on 96 pitches in the ballgame — five on his fastball — while posting a CSW of 30 percent. He now holds a 4.29 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 25/13 K/BB ratio over 35 2/3 innings in eight appearances (six starts) on the season. He’s likely to take on the Nationals his next time out on Monday.     Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander struck out four batters on the night while issuing a pair of walks. All of the damage done against him came on one swing of the bat by Paul DeJong in his final inning of work. Civale got nine swings and misses on 82 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 28 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a disappointing 5.88 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and a 43/12 K/BB ratio (41 1/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Red Sox in Boston.   • Carlos Rodón strikes out seven in win over Astros
    Carlos Rodón allowed two runs with seven strikeouts across 6 1/3 innings in a win over the Astros on Wednesday.

    Advice: Rodón served up a solo homer to Kyle Tucker in the first inning. He settled in nicely, tossing five more scoreless frames. Rodón went back out for the seventh gave up a run on two hits before his day was done with one out in the frame. He struck out seven on an impressive 16 whiffs. It was a nice bounceback effort for the 31-year-old left-hander. He’ll take a 3.56 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and a 43/14 K/BB ratio across 43 innings into a start against the Twins in Minnesota on Tuesday.   • Spencer Arrighetti surrenders five runs in loss
    Spencer Arrighetti allowed five runs with four strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Wednesday.

    Advice: The Yankees got to Arrighetti early, with Juan Soto taking him deep for a two-run homer in the first inning. Soto brought one more across with a single in the second. Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton added a pair of solo homers in the third. Arrighetti hung in there for two more scoreless frames, ending his day after five. The 24-year-old right-hander has had a rough go so far this season, posting an 8.44 ERA, 2.02 WHIP, and a 25/13 K/BB ratio across 21 1/3 innings.     Advice: The versatile 27-year-old has been shelved since April 11 due to a left wrist sprain. Before he was sidelined, Gonzalez had been just 1-for-4 (.250) with a walk and a strikeout in two games played with the Red Sox.
