    • Bryson Stott goes hitless against Giants
Bryson Stott, who didn’t start Monday, went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott has run extremely hot and cold this season, posting a .559 OPS over his first 25 games and a 1.242 OPS over his subsequent 18 games. Now he’s back in another drought, having gone 2-for-28 in his last eight games. The good news is that he’s struck out just three times during that span. He still projects as a useful MI in mixed leagues going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm

    • Ends power drought
Arenado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Arenado went 11 games without a homer prior to Tuesday. In that span, he hit a paltry .222 (10-for-45). The third baseman took Andrew Abbott deep in the fourth inning to give the Cardinals all the offense they needed in the win. Arenado is still having a rough year overall with four homers, 25 RBI, 21 runs scored, 10 doubles and a .257/.311/.366 slash line over 52 contests. While the Cardinals' offense has struggled at times, Arenado has not been able to lead by example as much as he has in previous years. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 pm

    • Punches out 10 in loss
Rodriguez (5-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: Rodriguez got off to a rocky start Tuesday, allowing a pair of runs in each of the first two innings. The 24-year-old Rodriguez would settle in and hold Boston off the board over his final four frames while recording a career-high 10 strikeouts. However, the Orioles couldn't overcome the early deficit in the eventual 8-3 defeat. It's the first time since April 23 that Rodriguez has allowed more than two earned runs in a start -- he'd gone 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA in his previous three outings. Overall, he sports a 3.53 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 61:21 K:BB across 51 innings this season. Rodriguez's next start is currently scheduled for early next week in Toronto. • Grayson Rodriguez stumbles early against Red Sox
Grayson Rodriguez allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: The Red Sox jumped on Rodriguez early, scoring four runs on five hits in the first two innings, but the 24-year-old responded with four shutout innings to end his day. He also struck out 10 batters and walked just one on the day while posting a 38 percent whiff rate and 40 percent CSW. It mostly came down to location with Rodriguez on Tuesday. The pitches the Red Sox hit hard were either pitches that Rodriguez missed his spots on or pitches early in the count that he was simply trying to throw over the plate. He now has a 3.53 ERA and will look to get back on track next week against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:38 pm
    • Idle against lefty
Kepler is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Kepler will avoid a matchup with southpaw Cole Ragans on Tuesday, a normal occurrence for the lefty-hitting outfielder. Manuel Margot will bat leadoff and play right field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:07 pm

    • Lourdes Gurriel sitting Tuesday against Rangers
Lourdes Gurriel is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers.

Advice: Gurriel went just 1-for-10 in the three-game series against the Marlins, and he’s hitting .203 with a .582 OPS thus far in the month of May. He’ll take a seat with Pavin Smith getting the start in right field while hitting fifth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:14 am
    • Taking seat Tuesday
Gurriel is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rangers.

Advice: It's a routine day off for Gurriel, who is batting just .203/.241/.291 with one home run so far in May. The Diamondbacks will utilize Jake McCarthy and Pavin Smith as their corner outfielders Tuesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:10 am
    • Settles for no-decision Monday
King allowed one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over five innings in a no-decision against Miami on Monday.

Advice: King pitched very well in the outing, but San Diego wasn't able to put its second run on the board until the seventh frame, preventing him from picking up a second consecutive victory. The only run the right-hander allowed came on a third-inning homer by Jazz Chisholm. King has given up one or zero runs in three of his past five starts and has racked up a 34:8 K:BB across 30 innings over that span. He's tentatively slated to make his next start in Kansas City. • Accounts for lone run in loss
Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Goldschmidt has homered three times over his last two games, though it's still too early to say he's completely out of the woods for his slow start to the campaign. He's shown some encouraging signs, hitting safely in all but one of his last 14 games while going 18-for-61 (.295) in that span. The first baseman is up to seven homers, 22 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases with a .222/.297/.359 slash line over 50 contests this season. Despite his recent success, he's striking out at a 31.5 percent clip and has struck out 32 times over 21 games in May. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:27 pm
