    • Getting looks at third base
Caballero went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Wednesday against the Cubs.

Advice: He has lost some playing time since the return of Taylor Walls but has still started four of the last six games. Caballero has made starts at second base, third base and shortstop and looks set to settle into a utility role for the Rays. The 27-year-old has also been productive of late, hitting two home runs and swiping three bags across his last 10 appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 6:51 am

    • Swipes 13th bag
Volpe went 2-for-5 with a run and a stolen base Wednesday against Kansas City in an 11-5 victory.

Advice: Volpe led off the game with a single and then stole second base before later coming around to score. The theft was his 13th of the campaign, pushing him past the halfway point as he seeks to surpass last season's total of 24 steals. Volpe has reached base at a much higher clip this season -- he's currently posting a .335 OBP compared to last year's .283 mark. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:56 pm

    • Tagged with loss Wednesday
Buehler (1-4) allowed three runs (two earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out two over five innings, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Rangers.

Advice: Buehler gave up a three-run home run to Corey Seager in the fifth inning, and that ended up being the difference in this game. This was the sixth time in seven outings that Buehler has allowed at least three runs. He's likely still working on getting into a groove after an extended absence following his August 2022 Tommy John surgery. The right-hander has a 4.64 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB over 33 innings so far. He'll have a tough task in his next start, which is projected to be at Colorado. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:10 pm
    • Powers offense in win
Seager went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Seager missed nearly a week due to left hamstring soreness, and he played in a non-defensive capacity as the designated hitter Wednesday. He delivered the biggest hit of the game, a fifth-inning blast that accounted for all of the Rangers' runs. Prior to his absence, Seager had hit safely in 17 of his previous 18 games, batting .354 and slugging .800 in that span. He's up to a .271/.362/.484 slash line with 14 homers, 33 RBI, 30 runs scored and no stolen bases through 58 contests overall. Getting Seager's bat back in the lineup is a big boost to a Texas offense that has been limited to three runs or fewer in six of 10 games in June. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:58 pm
    • Lifts homer in loss
Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-3 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Walker has gone 10-for-45 (.222) with two homers and eight RBI over 11 contests in June. The first baseman is up to 13 long balls, 42 RBI, 40 runs scored, 12 doubles, two stolen bases and a .255/.340/.458 slash line through 68 games this season. Walker's power is a bit down from the last two years, but that's at least partially due to bad luck -- entering Wednesday, he had a 50.0 percent hard-hit rate and a 15.1 percent barrel rate this season, up from 40.4 percent and 11.4 percent, respectively, in 2023. • Corey Seager homers in return to lineup Wednesday
Corey Seager with 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk to power the Rangers to a 3-2 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Seager made his return to the lineup on Wednesday, hitting second as the designated hitter. With two runners on base in the fifth inning, he put the Rangers on the board with a three-run blast off Walker Buehler to give Texas the lead. The three runs would be all the Rangers needed to pick up the win over Los Angeles. The 30-year-old shortstop is slashing .271/.362/.484 with 14 homers and 33 RBI across 254 plate appearances. • Walker Buehler gives up three runs in loss
Walker Buehler allowed three runs -- two earned -- with two strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Buehler had worked through four scoreless innings against the Rangers before serving up a three-run homer to Corey Seager to put Texas on top. Buehler scattered seven hits and one walk, striking out two batters. The 29-year-old right-hander has posted a 4.64 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and a 29/9 K/BB ratio across 33 innings. He’s in line for a start against the Rockies in Colorado early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:10 pm
    • Christian Walker goes yard in loss to Angels
Christian Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: The Diamondbacks were held without a run through seven innings before Walker led off the eighth with a solo blast off Jose Soriano. Walker is up to 13 homers while slashing .255/.340/.458 with 40 runs scored and 42 RBI across 291 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:33 pm
    • Three hits in win
Duran went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 8-6 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Duran singled in the third inning, hit an RBI single and scored in the fifth then doubled in the sixth. Duran has been stellar through 10 games in June, hitting .357 with six extra-base hits, five RBI and four steals. He is doing a bit of everything in 2024, hitting .269 with five home runs, 28 RBI, 44 runs scored and 15 steals while hitting leadoff for the Red Sox. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:55 pm
