    • Steven Kwan homers, reaches four times vs. Marlins
Steven Kwan homered and reached four times in an 8-0 win for the Guardians over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: In addition to Kwan’s homer — a two-run shot in the fifth inning — the outfielder also singled and drew a pair of walks. Keeping in mind that the 26-year-old did miss a good amount of time, he’s still putting together a sensational .371/.431/.523 slash in 151 at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 9:59 pm

    • Homers in Saturday's win
Kwan went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Saturday's 8-0 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Kwan has received fairly regular rest since returning from a hamstring injury, but he's been money when in the lineup. Over five games since his return, he's gone 9-for-18 (.500) with three RBI and eight runs scored. The outfielder is up to a .371/.431/.523 slash line with four homers, 14 RBI, 36 runs scored and three stolen bases across 37 contests this season. Kwan is likely to remain cautious on the basepaths given his history of hamstring injuries, but it's his bat-to-ball skills that drive his production. Rotowire.com Today, 9:21 pm

    • Blasts third homer, steals base
Friedl went 1-for-3 with a home run, three RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Friedl drove in three of the Reds' four runs on a two-run homer off Ben Brown in the third and an RBI groundout in the fifth. Friedl reached base again on a walk in the eighth and added his fifth stolen base of the season. The 28-year-old has struggled to stay healthy this season, but he's now started in 10 straight games since his latest IL stint. The center fielder has three homers, 13 RBI and five stolen bases in just 16 games this year. Rotowire.com Today, 6:25 pm
    • Fans seven in tough-luck loss
Bradley (1-4) took the loss against Baltimore on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over five innings.

Advice: In his previous outing, Bradley was crushed by the Orioles for nine runs over 3.1 innings, so his performance Saturday was a promising turnaround. However, the strong effort didn't make a difference in the loss column, as Tampa Bay's offense was shut out by Kyle Bradish and a pair of Baltimore relievers. Despite the defeat, fantasy managers who roster Bradley should be encouraged by his start -- in addition to allowing just one run, he racked up 18 swinging strikes and walked only one batter. He now holds a 5.17 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 39:10 K:BB over 31.1 innings on the season. Rotowire.com Today, 6:01 pm
    • Clayton Kershaw tabbed for one more simulated game
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is scheduled to throw one more three-inning simulated game before beginning a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: Kershaw threw a two-inning simulated game at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday without any issue, touching 90 mph during the session. If all goes well with his next simulated game, he would then be cleared to start a minor league rehab assignment. He still looks to be on track for a return around the All-Star break. • Bradley strikes out seven in loss Saturday
Taj Bradley allowed one run in five innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Bradley gave up three hits, walked one and struck out seven. It was a strong performance from Bradley, but the Rays were shutout so he had no chance of getting the win. He’s completed six innings in only two of his six starts. While Bradley has a 5.17 ERA on the season, his xFIP is much lower at 3.46. He has 39 strikeouts in 31 1/3 innings. The 23-year-old right-hander is set to face the Cubs at home next week.

    • Rebounds vs. Atlanta
Gore (5-5) earned the win Saturday over Atlanta, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Gore delivered four shutout innings before he was ultimately charged with a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings. While he failed to make it through six innings for a third straight outing, it was a solid rebound effort from Gore after he was tagged for six runs in just 4.1 innings in his last start against the Mets. Overall, the 25-year-old southpaw sports a 3.57 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 68 innings this year. Gore's currently scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his next start. • Takes loss versus Royals
Castillo (5-7) took the loss to the Royals on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings.

Advice: Castillo had a tough outing as he gave up a season-high five runs in his seventh loss of the season. His offense gave him the lead two separate times Saturday, but he gave it back each time as he snapped a streak of 10 straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. Castillo remains one of the more consistent and durable starters in baseball, he's gone at least five innings in all of his 14 starts and will take a 3.35 ERA into his next outing. • MacKenzie Gore fans seven in win over Braves
MacKenzie Gore allowed two runs with seven strikeouts over five innings in a win over the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Gore escaped a bases loaded jam in the first inning and worked four scoreless frames before the Braves brought a run across to score in the fifth. Gore started the sixth inning but was pulled after giving up a pair of base hits. One inherited runner would come in to score. The 25-year-old left hander struck out seven on an impressive 19 whiffs. He’ll take a 3.44 ERA, 1.37 WHIP, and an 81/22 K/BB ratio across 68 innings into a home start against the Marlins on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:41 pm
