      Orioles placed RHP Grayson Rodriguez on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to April 30, with right shoulder inflammation.

      Advice: The move comes just two days after Rodriguez’s last start where he allowed zero runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Yankees on Monday. The 24-year-old has posted a 3.71 ERA, 1.41 WHIP with a 37/12 K/BB ratio in his six starts this season.       The Orioles placed Rodriguez on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with right shoulder inflammation, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

      Advice: Rodriguez showed no signs of being hindered by an injury in his last start against the Yankees on Monday, striking out three over 5.2 scoreless innings. However, the right-hander's shoulder is evidently bothering him enough that he will miss a least the next two weeks of action.       Estrada went 0-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-0 loss to the Red Sox.

      Advice: Estrada reached on an error and recorded his first steal of the year to get into scoring position, though he was left on base. Considering he logged a combined 44 steals over the previous two seasons, it's unusual that he's been less active on the basepaths. It doesn't help that he's batting just .229 with a .248 on-base percentage for the year, though those numbers improve to .291 and .316, respectively, over the last 16 games.       Advice: Holliday flopped in his first taste of the big leagues as Baltimore continued to challenge him from a development standpoint. However, that shouldn’t diminish fantasy managers’ long-term optimism. The latest multi-hit effort raises his Triple-A slash line to .321/.451/.554 with nine extra-base hits and one steal through 13 contests. He’ll get some extended time in the minors to continue ironing out contact issues and struggles against left-handed pitching, but it’s only a matter of time before he gets another shot in Baltimore.       Advice: Gimenez started the Guardians' comeback with a two-run blast in the sixth inning. The second baseman has logged three straight multi-hit efforts following a recent 0-for-11 skid. For the season, he's slashing .280/.347/.374 with one homer, 17 RBI, 17 runs scored, four stolen bases, five doubles and a triple over 122 plate appearances.       White Sox manager Pedro Grifol said Tuesday that Robert (hip) is taking batting practice and running at 80 percent, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

      Advice: The 26-year-old is about halfway through the short end of his initial recovery timeline of 6-to-8 weeks, and he appears to be a bit ahead of schedule. Robert could be ready to rejoin the White Sox in mid-May, but the organization is likely to remain cautious as he ramps up his baseball activities over the next couple weeks.
