      Advice: Torres gave the Yankees a 4-2 lead with a two-run double with the bases loaded in the third inning. He’s up to 21 RBI on the season now, but he has five RBI in his last three games.       Advice: Assad flashed his skill with the seven strikeouts, which tied for his second most in a game this year, but he was ultimately done in by a three-run Elly De La Cruz home run in the third inning. The righty still has a solid 2.74 ERA and 68 strikeouts across 69 innings this season, as he's performed well in his first extended run as a full-time starter for the Cubs.       Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Reds.

      Advice: Suzuki took Hunter Greene deep in the third inning for his seventh home run of the season. The outfielder now has three long balls over his last seven games, and he's batting a .308 during that span. Suzuki's numbers don't always jump off the page with a .781 OPS, but he's a fairly consistent contributor who gets plenty of playing time, which allows him to make an impact in most fantasy formats.       Devers was replaced by a pinch hitter during the seventh inning of Thursday's game against the White Sox, Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald reports.

      Advice: Devers exited with the Red Sox up 11-0 to get some extra rest, and he went 1-for-4 with a run scored prior to hitting the bench.       Advice: Betts capped off Los Angeles’ six-run explosion in the fifth inning with his 10th round-tripper of the season, taking Pirates reliever Ben Heller deep to center field. It was his second big fly in his last four games and first multi-hit effort since May 28. He also walked twice in this one.       Oneil Cruz went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and also stole a base on Thursday in the Pirates’ loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Cruz started his professional career with Los Angeles before being traded to the Pirates back in 2017 and came back to haunt his former club in this one with a three-run homer off Dodgers closer Evan Phillips in the eighth inning.       Javier Assad allowed five runs in 5 2/3 innings and took the loss against the Reds on Thursday.



      Advice: Assad gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out seven. He was replaced by Luke Little in a 4-4 game in the sixth inning and the run that scored on TJ Friedl’s RBI double was charged to Assad. The five earned runs were the most allowed in any start by Assad this year. His ERA is now 2.74, but his xFIP is significantly higher at 3.98.       Bryan Woo blanked the Athletics over six innings with six strikeouts in a 3-0 win for the Mariners on Thursday.

      Advice: Woo allowed just two hits without walking anyone. The right-hander has been spectacular since returning from the injured list, and the six scoreless frames lower his ERA to a miniscule 1.07 on the season. Woo has been able to take advantage of some poor lineups thus far, but there’s simply no denying these kinds of results. He should have no trouble against the White Sox next week.       Advice: Rutschman was responsible for the Orioles' first three runs Thursday, launching a solo shot off Yusei Kikuchi in the sixth inning before adding a two-run homer off Zach Pop in the eighth. Rutschman came into the day with just one home run in his previous 17 contests, though he's now hit safely in 10 straight games, going 15-for-42 (.357) in that span.
